    Chris Eubanks: Breaking the top 100, reaching the Quarterfinals of Wimbledon and retiring from professional tennis

    In this episode, I sit down with Chris Eubanks. Chris is a former professional tennis player turned broadcaster and analyst. We discuss Chris’s early years in the sport, his rise through the challenger circuit and getting his first wild card into the US Open. We talk about his breakthrough in 2023, including cracking the top 100 for the first time, reaching the quarterfinals of Wimbledon and achieving a career high singles ranking of 29.     Episode 3: Nick Lester

    In this episode, I sit down with Nick Lester. Nick is a seasoned tennis commentator and broadcaster and has worked for the likes of the BBC, Tennis Channel, Eurosport and ATP Media. From his early days playing tennis to becoming a prominent voice on major networks, Nick’s journey is a testament to following one’s passion. We discuss Nick’s introduction into tennis, competing as a junior and his brief stint working as a coach. Nick talks about his first role within broadcasting at Heartbeat FM, a local radio station in Hertfordshire where he became the football reporter for Stevenage Borough, and how that led to working for LBC in London and consequently Radio Wimbledon, marking his first significant entry into tennis commentary.  Nick also discusses how he found himself at the forefront of tennis commentary as ATP Media expanded its coverage in 2007, how his journey has taken him around the globe covering major tournaments, and how his passion for the sport and dedication to his craft has made him a respected voice in tennis commentary.
