Let's Keep Steppin' with Senator Nina Turner

In this last episode of the season, Senator Turner reflects. She inspires us to focus on life as a journey, not a destination. Speaking from the heart, SNT stays true-to-form and gets deep in her inspirational quotes to demonstrate the message that life is not a straight line; it is bumpy as hell, but we’ve GOTS to keep on keepin’ on. #HELLOSomebody

Let's Embrace Loss and Healing with Marisa Renee Lee

Author, Marisa Renee Lee speaks with Senator Turner about healing, love and loss during a grieving experience. Marisa talks about grief, healing oneself and confirming that it's ok to maintain a spiritual relationship with a loved one that you've lost - that is a form of healing. While in the process of redefining her personal grief process, Marisa wrote a book called Grief is Love (April 2022). Grief is Love gives us the most uplifting and personal story of Marisa’s journey. As we read through her experiences she hopes to help others who are navigating through loss and healing.

Let's Receive Our Brilliance with Sherlynn Allen-Harris

Let's Receive Our Brilliance with Sherlynn Allen-Harris

Senator Turner speaks with historian, educator, and author who is currently an Adjunct History Professor at Cuyahoga Community College, Sherlynn Allen-Harris.  They take a moment to discuss how the status quo and legislators have the power to encourage change instead of enforce the unbalanced racial power structures that affect all communities, especially the Black community. Senator Turner and Sherlynn lift up the fact that we must not allow uncomfortably distract us from teaching about our country’s history - the ugly and not so cute. With talks of regression, Sherlynn lays out how capitalism and the desire for profit plays a significant role in our society.

Let's Turn Rage Into Action with Senator Nina Turner (Solo)

SNT is “madder than a mother f*cker” and joins you in the outrage over the Supreme Court reversal on Roe v. Wade on June 24th.  She doesn’t stop with expressing her anger; in this episode she offers real solutions that we must do now in order to protect the democracy we have left. As SNT says, “EVERYBODY is Somebody in this episode.” Everybody must take action. #HelloEVERYBODY
