“Mamá Borinquen me llama, este país no es mio…” A personal podcast series about connecting to our Puerto Rican roots from abroad through self-reflection, fact-finding, and storytelling. We’ll take a look at the many important figures, places, events, and stories that have shaped and enriched the Puerto Rican culture and people. This is a celebration of our past and present, and a search for a hopeful future as we find our way back home… As a way to honor the place that raised me, I will research and learn more about Puerto Rico and record my findings, share personal stories about my childhood, and hopefully feel closer to the place I still call home.
