    Some truth

    This episode is just me and I spend a strange amount of time talking about Alison Brie. I wanted to record this to a) give myself space to talk and b) in case it helps any of you. We are all lost and unsure of what to do, and as long as we all have hope I think we can make it through. Hope allows an opportunity for things to change and that is what we must hold onto. You are all enough and wonderful and amazing!

    Speaking your truth

    Hello lovely people!  My mum and I sit down and talk assertiveness, friendships and a whole bunch of other unplanned things. I hope you are all staying well.  For help with cultivating assertiveness I would reccomend The Gottman Institute (i found an article on tips on asserting yourself when I googled: how to be assertive gottman. Also, there are lots of worksheets and pdfs available on the internet to help you practice the skills! I don't think you can click on hyperlinks so I'm afraid you'll have to do a couple of quick searches.  As always feel free to reach out and I wish you all the goodness in the world. 3

    Surviving lockdown so far

    In this episode, my mother and I discuss the current crazy climate, how you can help others and yourself and I have a good old rant. Again, we do not claim to know much we are simply sharing opinions and so if you don’t like them... Don’t listen!     How to keep talking

    My mother and I work our way around some weird topics, trying to find the best balance to keep mental health talks healthy. As you can tell by the podcast it’s not always the easiest thing to do. Hopefully this helps reinforce that every conversation doesn’t have to (and most likely won’t) go to plan and that the most important thing is to just keep trying. You all have so much to live and grow for. So much to experience.
