    Professor Diane Rasmussen spoke with Dr Donald Boyd, a retired doctor and leader of the Scottish Christian Party, about issues affecting Scotland and the wider UK. Dr Boyd is a relatively new UK Column viewer. He contacted Diane after watching her interview with concerned Texas mother Bonnie Wallace, Fighting the Spiritual Battle for Children's Innocence, regarding age-inappropriate content in books for children and teenagers. Following this contact, Diane and Dr Boyd recorded this informative and thoughtful discussion about a range of topics, including medical issues such as the Covid injections, UK political parties, spirituality, and religion. The UK-wide Christian Party "supports patriotism but not nationalism", and argues that other parties have lost sight of the role of Christian faith and values in British society. Working within the UK-wide party, the Scottish Christian Party has candidates standing for election to Scottish Parliament on 7 May 2026, with Dr Boyd running as the Party's candidate for the Highlands and Islands.
