    Depth Charge #13 — Some 30, Some 60, Some 100

Send us Fan Mail Depth Charge #13 — Some 30, Some 60, Some 100 Why did Jesus say 30, 60, and 100? Why those numbers? Jesus never explains them, so we won't claim that Scripture gives us an answer it doesn't give. But there is an intriguing possibility when we look at the Hebrew letters connected to those numbers. 30 — Lamed (ל) Often associated with learning and the shepherd's staff. 60 — Samekh (ס) Associated with support, being upheld, and sustaining. 100 — Kaf (כ) Connected with maturity and reaching beyond. Could there be a picture here? Receive. Grow. Bear fruit. We can't say with certainty that Jesus intended the Hebrew-letter meanings to communicate that progression. But when we follow the theme through Mark's Gospel, the picture becomes fascinating. The seed grows from the blade, to the ear, to the full corn in the ear. The mustard seed begins as the least and grows into something much greater. Paul gives us another picture of multiplication in 2 Timothy 2:2: Receive the Word. Be established in the Word. Reproduce the Word. That's what good ground does. It receives. It grows. It bears fruit. Whether the 30, 60, and 100 represent different degrees of faithfulness or simply emphasize the abundance of God's harvest, one thing is unmistakable: Good ground produces fruit. The question isn't, “Am I producing a hundredfold?” The question is: “Is the Word of God producing fruit in me?” This is Depth Charge #13 — a midweek blast of Scripture to keep you charged up, fired up, and standing strong in the Word of God. Every Sunday we go chapter by chapter, line by line, verse by verse. Every Wednesday, we drop another Depth Charge. Grab your Bible and Let's Get Crack'n! MARK CHAPTER 12 — THE VINEYARD, THE REJECTED STONE, AND THE COMING KING

Send us Fan Mail MARK CHAPTER 12 — THE VINEYARD, THE REJECTED STONE, AND THE COMING KING In Mark chapter 12, Brent and Jason dive into one of Jesus’ most powerful and prophetic teachings—the Parable of the Vineyard. Jesus confronts the religious leaders with a story that reaches far beyond the vineyard itself, revealing the spiritual history of Israel, the rejection of God’s messengers, and ultimately the rejection of the beloved Son. Brent and Jason unpack the spiritual symbolism woven throughout the chapter, including the vineyard, the servants, the beloved Son, and the stone the builders rejected. They also explore Jesus’ encounters with the Pharisees, Sadducees, and scribes as they attempt to trap Him with questions about taxes, the resurrection, and the greatest commandment. From “Render unto Caesar” to the widow’s two mites, Mark 12 continues to reveal the authority, wisdom, and identity of Christ. And as Brent and Jason work through this chapter, you’ll begin to see how Mark 12 sets the stage for what Jesus is about to reveal in Mark chapter 13. Depth Charge #12 — The Serpent in the Garden

Send us Fan Mail Depth Charge #12 — The Serpent in the Garden One of the greatest mistakes we can make is assuming that because something is a figure of speech, it isn’t true. Jesus taught in parables. He called Himself the Door, the Vine, the Bread of Life, and the Light of the World. These weren’t literal descriptions—but they revealed deeper realities. Genesis 3 works the same way. The serpent was real. The temptation was real. The fall was real. But the greatest weapon of the enemy was never his appearance—it was his question: “Yea, hath God said…?” From the beginning, the battle has always been over the truth of God’s Word. When Satan tempted Jesus, Christ didn’t answer with opinions, traditions, or human wisdom. He answered: “It is written.” Figures of speech, parables, and symbols don’t weaken Scripture. They reveal its depth. The lesson of Eden isn’t just about a serpent. It’s about recognizing the voice that twists God’s Word—and answering it with the Word of God. 🐍📖🔥 Grab your Bible… let’s get crackn’. #BibleBangers #DepthCharge #MorningManna #Genesis3 #GardenOfEden #ItIsWritten #ScriptureTruth #BibleStudy #VerseByVerse #LineByLine #ChapterByChapter #ScarletThread #JesusChrist #GodsWord #Faith #ChristianPodcast #BiblicalTruth  S Support the show CONNECT WITH BIBLEBANGERS PODCAST 📫Connect with us: BibleBangers/ DeepEndable Ministries P.O Box 98:2 Monticello, MN 55362 🌐 Website: https://sites.google.com/view/biblebangerspodcast/watchlisten 📧 Email: BibleBangerspodcast@gmail.com 📺 YouTube: BibleBangers Podcast - YouTube 📘 Facebook: (3) Facebook 📸 Instagram: Instagram 🎵 TikTok: BibleBangers (@biblebangerspodcast) | TikTok 🎙️ Bible Bangers Podcast Verse-by-verse. Mark Chapter 11 | The Naughty Figs: Israel, Authority, and the King Who Came to His Temple | BibleBangers

Send us Fan Mail Mark 11 — The Naughty Figs: Israel, Authority, and the King Who Came to His Temple Introduction: In Mark chapter 11, Jesus enters Jerusalem—and nothing about His arrival is quiet. From the triumphal entry to the withered fig tree, the cleansing of the temple, and the confrontation over His authority, Christ is making a powerful statement about the spiritual condition of Israel and the authority of the King standing in their midst. Jason and Brent take a deeper look at the “naughty figs” and follow that imagery back into the Old Testament, especially through Jeremiah and Isaiah, where God had already used the language of fruit, vines, figs, and spiritual unfaithfulness to speak about His people. But this chapter is about more than a fig tree. It is about fruitlessness, false religion, judgment, and authority—and ultimately, who has the right to rule. Why does Jesus curse the fig tree? Why does He cleanse the temple? Why do the religious leaders immediately challenge His authority? And what happens when the King comes looking for fruit and finds none? As we walk through Mark 11, we’ll connect the dots between the prophets, the teachings of Christ, and the bigger story of Scripture—following that scarlet thread that runs all the way through. Depth Charge #11 — The Peace Offering Fulfilled

Send us Fan Mail Depth Charge #11 — The Peace Offering Fulfilled What if the peace offering in Leviticus was pointing to something far greater than a sacrifice? In Leviticus 3, God established the peace offering—a sacrifice connected with fellowship, communion, and sharing a meal in the presence of God. The sacrifice came first, and then came the fellowship. Now follow that scarlet thread to John 21. After Jesus had offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice, He met Peter on the shore of Galilee. There, the risen Christ prepared a meal and called Peter to “Come and dine.” The sacrifice had been made. The price had been paid. Now came restoration and fellowship. Peter had denied Christ three times. Yet Jesus didn't cast him away. He brought him back to the table. The peace offering was pointing forward to Christ—the One through whom we have peace with God and restored fellowship with Him. The sacrifice is finished. The table is prepared. There is peace with God. And there is a place for you at the King’s table. Follow the scarlet thread from Leviticus to the risen Christ and see how the Peace Offering finds its fulfillment in Jesus. Mark Chapter 10 — What Are You Holding On To?

Send us Fan Mail Mark Chapter 10 — What Are You Holding On To? EPISODE DESCRIPTION: In Mark Chapter 10, Jesus confronts some of the hardest questions of discipleship: marriage and divorce, children, wealth, sacrifice, and what it truly means to follow Him. Brent and Jason walk verse by verse through this powerful chapter, exploring Christ’s teaching on divorce and the heart of God’s design for marriage. They also examine the encounter with the rich young man and the difficult lesson Jesus gives about riches, possessions, and the cost of following Him. But the chapter ends with a picture that brings it all together. Blind Bartimaeus hears that Jesus is passing by. When Jesus calls him, Bartimaeus throws off his garment, rises, and comes to Christ. Unlike the rich man who walked away because he could not let go of what he possessed, Bartimaeus was willing to cast aside everything and follow Jesus. The contrast is striking: one man had everything but could not let go; another man had almost nothing but was willing to let go of everything. And perhaps that is the question Mark 10 ultimately puts before each of us: What are you holding on to that keeps you from following Christ? Join Brent and Jason as they go chapter by chapter, line by line, verse by verse through Mark 10—following the scarlet thread of Christ woven throughout Scripture. Let’s get cracking! SCRIPTURE: Mark 10 — King James Version IN THIS EPISODE: • Jesus' teaching on marriage and divorce • Why Christ points back to God's original design • Jesus welcomes the little children • The rich young ruler and the cost of discipleship • Why riches can become a spiritual stumbling block • Leaving everything to follow Christ • Jesus foretells His death and resurrection • The request of James and John • What true greatness looks like in God's kingdom • Blind Bartimaeus cries out to Jesus • Bartimaeus casts off his garment and follows Christ • The contrast between the rich man and Bartimaeus • What does it really mean to follow Jesus?
