The book of I THESSALONIANS 5 - KJV BIBLE 1Th:5:1: But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. 1Th:5:2: For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. 1Th:5:3: For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. 1Th:5:4: But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. 1Th:5:5: Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. 1Th:5:6: Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober. 1Th:5:7: For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night. 1Th:5:8: But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation. 1Th:5:9: For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, 1Th:5:10: Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him. 1Th:5:11: Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do. 1Th:5:12: And we beseech you, brethren, to know them which labour among you, and are over you in the Lord, and admonish you; 1Th:5:13: And to esteem them very highly in love for their work's sake. And be at peace among yourselves. 1Th:5:14: Now we exhort you, brethren, warn them that are unruly, comfort the feebleminded, support the weak, be patient toward all men. 1Th:5:15: See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men. 1Th:5:16: Rejoice evermore. 1Th:5:17: Pray without ceasing. 1Th:5:18: In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. 1Th:5:19: Quench not the Spirit. 1Th:5:20: Despise not prophesyings. 1Th:5:21: Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. 1Th:5:22: Abstain from all appearance of evil. 1Th:5:23: And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. 1Th:5:24: Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it. 1Th:5:25: Brethren, pray for us. 1Th:5:26: Greet all the brethren with an holy kiss. 1Th:5:27: I charge you by the Lord that this epistle be read unto all the holy brethren. 1Th:5:28: The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. THE BOOK OF I John 4 - KJV BIBLE 1Jo:4:1: Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. 1Jo:4:2: Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: 1Jo:4:3: And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. 1Jo:4:4: Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. 1Jo:4:5: They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them. 1Jo:4:6: We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error. 1Jo:4:7: Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. 1Jo:4:8: He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. 1Jo:4:9: In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. 1Jo:4:10: Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. 1Jo:4:11: Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another. 1Jo:4:12: No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us. 1Jo:4:13: Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit. 1Jo:4:14: And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world. 1Jo:4:15: Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God. 1Jo:4:16: And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him. 1Jo:4:17: Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world. 1Jo:4:18: There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. Jas:1:2: My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Jas:1:3: Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. Jas:1:4: But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. Jas:1:5: If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. Jas:1:6: But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. Jas:1:7: For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. Jas:1:8: A double minded man is unstable in all his ways. Jas:1:9: Let the brother of low degree rejoice in that he is exalted: Jas:1:10: But the rich, in that he is made low: because as the flower of the grass he shall pass away. Jas:1:11: For the sun is no sooner risen with a burning heat, but it withereth the grass, and the flower thereof falleth, and the grace of the fashion of it perisheth: so also shall the rich man fade away in his ways. Jas:1:12: Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him. Jas:1:13: Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man: Jas:1:14: But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Jas:1:15: Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death. Jas:1:16: Do not err, my beloved brethren. Jas:1:17: Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. Jas:1:18: Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures. Jas:1:19: Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath: Jas:1:20: For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God. Jas:1:21: Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls. Jas:1:22: But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. Jas:1:23: For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: Jas:1:24: For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. Jas:1:25: But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed. Jas:1:26: If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain. Part Transcription:- 1: And he looked up, and saw the rich men casting their gifts into the treasury. 2: And he saw also a certain poor widow casting in thither two mites. 3: And he said, Of a truth I say unto you, that this poor widow hath cast in more than they all: 4: For all these have of their abundance cast in unto the offerings of God: but she of her penury hath cast in all the living that she had. 5: And as some spake of the temple, how it was adorned with goodly stones and gifts, he said, 6: As for these things which ye behold, the days will come, in the which there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down. 7: And they asked him, saying, Master, but when shall these things be? and what sign will there be when these things shall come to pass? 8: And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them. 9: But when ye shall hear of wars and commotions, be not terrified: for these things must first come to pass; but the end is not by and by. 10: Then said he unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: 11: And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven. 12: But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you, and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues, and into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my name's sake. 13: And it shall turn to you for a testimony. 14: Settle it therefore in your hearts, not to meditate before what ye shall answer: 15: For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist. 16: And ye shall be betrayed both by parents, and brethren, and kinsfolks, and friends; and some of you shall they cause to be put to death. 17: And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake. 18: But there shall not an hair of your head perish. 19: In your patience possess ye your souls. 20: And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh. 21: Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto. 22: For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled. 23: But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people.....
