¿Para quién diseñamos las ciudades turísticas? con Frank Hoeft

Cuando hay 13 turistas por cada habitante, el turismo se transforma en un profundo desafío social, ambiental y cultural. Para explorar los futuros del turismo, conversamos con Frank Holft, diseñador, futurista y activista radicado en Mallorca, uno de los epicentros del turismo masivo en el mundo. A través de su ONG, Fundament, Frank investiga cómo el diseño y el activismo pueden abordar problemáticas complejas, buscando un equilibrio en la convivencia social. En este episodio, viajamos a los orígenes del turismo para entender cómo pasamos de la exploración a la extracción. Frank comparte cómo el diseño de servicios, muchas veces, prioriza al visitante sin considerar el impacto del turismo en los residentes, usando el ejemplo de las bicicletas de alquiler. Es una conversación crítica sobre la necesidad del pensamiento sistémico para crear un modelo de turismo sostenible.
