Sam and Max are in mourning as they talk about the closure of one of the country's best music venues, the Zoo in Brisbane. They also cover some new finds and a quick spot of this or that. Then, Sam jumps on a call with British singer/songwriter Frank Turner, chatting about Frank's memories of the Zoo at his first Aussie show, what it's like making albums for himself, and how he came together with one of Australia's best bands for one of his latest singles!

Max and Sam have both been busy at gigs this week, and we look back at their experiences at 6lack and Niall Horan. Then they get serious for a sec, and talk about what the sound of the 2020s is (or isn't), before Max dives into a chat with another Sam, from brand-new Sydney metal band Dark Hours.

In the interview, they cover how a collection of the scene's biggest punk bands have built into the new heavy outfit, whether the Sydney scene is ready for the return of alternative, and how well a metal Baby Shark cover would go with the crowds.
