Awaken Through the Wounds is a healing space for anyone who grew up carrying pain they were never allowed to speak about.  Hosted by "The Girl Behind the Mic," this podcast explores suppressed childhood memories, trauma-based relationships, generational wounds, midlife awakenings and the moment you finally realize your story deserves to be told.  Here, you'll find gentle truth telling, emotional support and the reminder that you are NOT BROKEN.  You are AWAKENING.   This podcast isn't "perfect".  It's my first and honestly I never imagined doing something like this, but I have a calling to help others who feel as lost as I did at one point in my life.  I don't want anyone who is going through this to feel alone.  I am here for you.

    Part 1-The Collapse

    The Collapse is about the moment when holding it all together is no longer possible.   In this episode, I talk about the day everything came out and what unfolded afterwards.  I talk about what it's like to realize that life couldn't return to what it was before.  The unraveling.  The confusion.     Welcome to Awaken Through the Wounds!   This podcast was created as a space to explore healing, accountability, and what it means to be human in complicated situations. A gentle disclaimer.... This podcast discusses different forms of trauma, sexual abuse (non graphic terms), and the impact trauma can have not he brain, nervous system, body, and relationships.  Please listen with care, pause if you need to, and remember you are always in control of how and when you engage with this content.   This first episode, I share why this podcast exists, not to debate, persuade, or sensationalize pain, but to speak honestly about lived experiences, nervous system healing and the quiet moments that shape who we become.
