The Phantom Dark Age Pt. 2

In the late 1980s, historical revisionist, Heribert Illig recognized a massive discrepancy in our calendar. Illig began to construct his Phantom Time Hypothesis in an effort to prove that Otto III fabricated 297 years of history, therefore explaining why the Dark Ages were so dark after all.

Anti Conspiracy Theories

I’m going to start with what’s good with this podcast. It talks about a lot of our favorite conspiracy theories and it is very interesting, it usually starts with an explanation on the conspiracy theory of the episode and then starts going down on why it is not believable.

What I don’t like is that it stands opposite of conspiracy theorists. Where conspiracy theorists will look for the littlest detail and make it proof, this podcast will find the littlest fail in a theory and debunk it because of it. They usually go “if official sources say it is not true, then it is not true, because, why will official sources lie?”
