The #1 Nutrient Deficiency in Elevated Blood Pressure (Hypertension)

Learn about one of the top causes of hypertension and how one important mineral can help. 0:00 Introduction: Essential hypertension 0:32 What is high blood pressure? 1:11 What causes hypertension? 2:29 Potassium and heart health 4:04 Best sources of potassium 5:08 How to lower blood pressure naturally In this video, we’re going to take a look at hypertension. Ninety percent of all hypertension is considered essential hypertension. This means the cause is unknown. Anti-hypertensive medication is one of the most prescribed medicines in the world. Normal blood pressure is 120/80. Research suggests a strong relationship between potassium deficiency and high blood pressure. Many people are deficient in potassium because the requirements are so high—4700 mg daily. You need about half as much sodium as potassium, but many people consume three times as much sodium as potassium! Potassium directly controls the tone of the vascular system. This directly affects blood pressure. Potassium also supports the endothelial layer of the arteries and helps improve insulin resistance. Potassium supplements often only contain 99 mg of potassium, which is incredibly low considering how much potassium you actually need. You can get potassium from salad, but you must consume around 7 to 10 cups daily. This also provides magnesium. The combination of potassium and magnesium can help reduce high blood pressure. Diets high in carbs and sugar cause you to lose potassium. Adrenaline and cortisol deplete potassium as well. To support healthy blood pressure levels, try increasing your salad intake. You can also look for a high-quality electrolyte powder that's high in potassium. Dr. Eric Berg DC Bio: Dr. Berg, age 59, is a chiropractor who specializes in Healthy Ketosis & Intermittent Fasting. STOP Nighttime Urination NOW: IT REALLY WORKS

Discover the underlying cause of nocturia to stop frequent urination at night for good. Once you understand the root cause, you can quickly decrease urination frequency at night and sleep better immediately. Watch this episode next: Reset Your Body in 5 Days (With Zero Food) 0:00 Introduction: How to fix urination frequency at night 0:33 Enlarged prostate and frequent urination 0:54 What causes nocturia? 1:40 Insulin resistance and an overactive bladder 3:16 What increases urination frequency at night? 5:02 Low-salt diets and frequent urination 5:42 Keto and intermittent fasting to reduce urination frequency Overview of the Healthy Ketogenic Diet: https://drbrg.co/3CNCkePhttps://drbrg.co/3QlnPlm Attempting to address urination frequency by treating an enlarged prostate is not the best solution! Frequent urination is often blamed on an enlarged prostate, UTIs, or kidney stones, but there’s a much more common root cause. The most common cause of frequent urination at night is too much insulin in your blood. Insulin resistance is a condition where your insulin receptors no longer accept insulin. To compensate, the pancreas produces more insulin. This is why many diabetics have a problem with urinary frequency at night. When blood sugar is high, the kidneys remove the sugar from the blood to eliminate it from the body. This increases urination frequency. Insulin resistance causes an overactive bladder, even if your blood sugar is normal. Increased urinary frequency at night is an early sign of insulin resistance, which is a precursor to diabetes. Insulin resistance increases stress on the kidneys, which is why diabetes is the leading cause of kidney disease. Insulin resistance can also cause electrolyte imbalances, blood pressure changes at night, and increased cortisol. Snacking at night is the single most significant cause of frequent urination at night. Eliminate all snacks and beverages after dinner to decrease urination frequency at night. Snacking at night can also cause bloating and interrupted sleep. A low-salt diet can also increase urination frequency at night. If you think your nocturia is due to low salt, add more sea salt to your meals throughout the day. A low-carb diet can help reduce nocturia symptoms. Keep your carb consumption under 30 grams per day. Healthy Keto® can combat insulin resistance, improve your health, and reduce frequent urination at night. Intermittent fasting is equally important in reversing insulin resistance. Aim for 3 meals with no snacks, eventually dropping down to 2 meals each day. Ending nocturia will significantly enhance your sleep, which is vital for your heart, blood sugar, stress levels, energy, cognitive function, and more. Don’t forget to get plenty of vitamin D with magnesium. #health #keto #ketodiet #weightloss #ketolifestyle #intermittentfasting #lowcarb Thanks for watching! I hope this helps relieve your nocturia symptoms. I’ll see you in the next video. --- Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

    CEASE Ignoring This!!!

Is your blood sugar too high? There are some common symptoms of high blood sugar to look out for. Learn to spot high blood sugar warning signs and reduce high blood sugar and insulin resistance with a healthy diet. Watch this episode next: Reset Your Body in 5 Days (With Zero Food) 0:00 Introduction: 7 signs of high blood sugar 0:19 Understanding hyperglycemia 1:17 Symptoms of high blood sugar 4:38 How to lower blood sugar with dietary changes 5:43 How to reverse insulin resistance 6:12 The A1C test for high blood sugar When you overeat carbohydrates, your blood sugar rises, and insulin removes the sugar from the blood. Insulin also allows sugar to be used as fuel in the cell. Due to insulin resistance, many high blood sugar symptoms are related to low blood sugar and low sugar inside the cell. Here are 7 high blood sugar warning signs. 1. Excessive urination Waking up to urinate at night signifies a blood sugar problem and even a prediabetic situation. When you have too much sugar in the blood, it’s filtered by the kidneys and excreted in the urine. 2. Excessive thirst Excessive urination leads to water loss and excessive thirst. High blood sugar causes sodium retention, which your body tries to dilute. High blood glucose also contributes to potassium deficiency, which also increases thirst. 3. Skin changes Skin folds will often become darker due to excess glucose. 4. Brain fog and fatigue Many people have no idea this is a symptom of high blood sugar! High blood sugar starves the neurons. 5. Mood swings Irritability is often caused when your blood sugar that’s too high goes too low. A ketogenic diet can significantly improve mood issues. 6. Cravings Cravings will typically be for sugar and salty carbs. 7. Blurry eyes The lens of the eye becomes swollen, and the inside of the eye becomes reddened. Fixing the diet and lowering carbohydrates could help eliminate symptoms of high blood sugar within weeks. You’ll also want to increase glucagon to decrease insulin by consuming high-quality protein like red meat, fish, or eggs. An A1C test measures your blood sugar over 120 days. The higher the percentage of glycated hemoglobin you have, the more severe your diabetes is. If you’re on keto or the carnivore diet, you may notice that your A1C test is still high. This is because these diets extend the life of the red blood cells. Disclaimer: Dr. Eric Berg received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1988. Refined sugars, junk food, and late-night snacking can interfere with sleep. If you want better sleep, eat earlier in the day. For the best sleep, have your last meal around 5:00 p.m. If you're waking at night to urinate, intermittent fasting and a low-carb diet can help. Inflammatory foods, such as grains, can also interfere with your sleep. High carbohydrate diets increase your need for vitamin B1, which reduces anxiety and tension. Kefir contains probiotics that can build up serotonin, which turns into melatonin, the sleep hormone. L. reuteri yogurt also contains helpful probiotics to improve sleep. Consume ½ cup daily; it doesn't have to be before bed. Try the following tips for better sleep to help you wake up early feeling refreshed and energized: •Sleep in a 65 to 68 degree room •If you have cold feet at night, try sleeping with warm socks •Plants in the room can help oxygenate the space and improve sleep •The darker the environment, the better Light inhibits melatonin. Blue light from your computer or phone stimulates energy, while infrared lighting helps you wind down. Around 50% of the sun’s rays are infrared and can penetrate several inches into the body. Infrared light helps you make vitamin D, which is vital for sleep and increasing melatonin. Since culture has pushed us away from sun exposure, sleep quality has declined. Alcohol will make you feel tired, but it interferes with deep sleep. Caffeine, tea, coffee, and chocolate act as stimulants and prevent sleep. Increase exercise to improve sleep. Stretching and massage can also help you relax. Here are a few more deep sleep tips that can significantly improve sleep quality: •Sleep on your right side •Focus on nose breathing •Reduce stress for better sleep •Ensure adequate sodium intake to maintain healthy cortisol levels •Increase potassium intake •Consume magnesium glycinate powder 1 hour before bed •Sound machine •Binaural beats •Use essential oils (Spikenard, vetiver) Dr. Eric Berg DC Bio: Dr. Berg, age 60, is a chiropractor who specializes in Healthy Ketosis & Intermittent Fasting. Why Can't I Discuss This?

Did you know there are forbidden topics on YouTube? Find out about the connection between high amounts of vitamin D and autoimmune diseases, as well as some of the other topics I can’t talk about on YouTube! Watch this episode next: Reset Your Body in 5 Days (With Zero Food) 0:00 Introduction: Autoimmune disease 1:24 High doses of vitamin D and autoimmune diseases 2:02 Dr. Bruce Hollis on the benefits of vitamin D 2:38 Autoimmune disease in the United States 3:41 Celiac disease and genetics 4:58 Vaccines and autoimmunity Dr. Bruce Hollis Full Interview:    • Your Body Is BEGGING for Vitamin D!! Today, I’m going to share some fascinating data on autoimmune diseases. First, let’s examine some before-and-after images of people who used high doses of vitamin D for autoimmune diseases. Dr. Bruce Hollis explains that there are many studies on the positive benefits of vitamin D, but many of them have been discarded and are not included in the literature. If many people with autoimmune diseases see their problem go into remission with vitamin D, does this mean the conditions are related to vitamin D deficiency? There has been a massive spike in autoimmune diseases; they now surpass cancer and heart disease. It is currently our top health problem. Could the cause be related to glyphosate or genetics? Let’s take a look. Autoimmune disease occurs when the immune system attacks one's own tissues, creating inflammation. Specific genes can make us more susceptible to autoimmune diseases, but because of heightened immune surveillance, they also have protective factors against viruses and parasites. “Vaccines and Autoimmunity” presents data about specific vaccines and the autoimmune diseases they might trigger. For example, the vaccine for Lyme disease can trigger arthritis in hamsters genetically susceptible to arthritis. In 1950, 5 vaccines were given to children. Today, children receive over 30 vaccines. The CDC recommends 69 doses of 16 vaccines from birth to age 18 months. Could these vaccines overstimulate an already fragile immune system? Is it possible to overdo it? If you have to take a vaccine, taking vitamin D could be a good idea to add some protection.
