100ft Jesus, Police Called on Soccer Toddler & Your Wildest Teachers | HEIGHTENED BABBLE Ep 44

Welcome to Episode 44 of Heightened Babble Brad Williams and JB Ball start with a vote reminder and a round of National Sandwich Day, World Jellyfish Day and National Cliché Day. They celebrate Dolph Lundgren and Osamu Tezuka, and Brad plugs the Tall Tales tour.First Class Mail is a rundown of Nana-submitted stories about running into teachers in unexpected places: drugs, strip clubs, medical settings, drunk in public, and adult films, toys, brothels and swingers. It ends with a teacher who became "Mrs. Robinson" on OnlyFans and recognized Johnny Sins as her former 10th-grade student. The guys agree teachers should be paid more.In Too Tall Tales, a man dressed as Jesus is accidentally lifted 100 feet by a crane at an Easter event in Seoul. That leads to Brad's parasailing story with Jo Koy and a debate about shark attacks. The second story is about Nevada, a 3-year-old soccer phenom whose game drew a police call. His GoFundMe had passed $42,000 when the hosts checked, and they ask fans to write "Let a Nana know, Nevada" in their donation comments.Support Nevada's GOFUNDME:https://www.gofundme.com/f/support-nevadas-soccer-journeySend your stories and answers to heightenedbabble@gmail.com or leave a voicemail at (323) 272-3908. Disco Demolition, Underpants Birds, & The Best Baseball Wedding Ever | HEIGHTENED BABBLE Ep 43

Brad Williams and JB Ball open Episode 43 — "the Troy Polamalu episode" — riffing on the Steelers legend's soft-spoken fame, then cover National American Beer Day, Potato Day, and Boxer Shorts Day. They dig into White Sox player Murakami's viral "I am a Japanese" postgame catchphrase, tracing it back to a classic Blue Jays interview callback. Birthday shoutouts hit Theodore Roosevelt (teddy bear origin story) and John Cleese, sparking a Monty Python coconut-horse tangent. The intro wraps with tour date rundowns and a new executive producer shoutout to Giselle Barton. In First Class Mail, listeners escalate the "weird places you've run into a teacher" thread with a stripper reunion, a student mail carrier delivering a sex toy package to her teacher, and a teacher moonlighting as a nude beach hot dog vendor. Other submissions include a petty garbage man's passive-aggressive trash can placement, a country club member literally named "P***y Driver," a family nickname mix-up, and a callback to the ball-stomping scene from *Baby's Day Out*.Two Tall Tales covers the Atlanta Hawks' "Single AF Night," spiraling into history's most chaotic minor-league promotions — Disco Demolition Night's riot, a "Circle of Life" funeral giveaway night, the Altoona Curve's miserable "Awful Night" (capped by a raffled gallbladder), and a "Turkish Millionaire" trivia night with a near-worthless grand prize. The segment closes with a man caught smuggling ten live birds in his underwear through Miami airport, followed by a candid chat about personal "outside the mainstream" attractions, including producer Isaac's awkward Sabrina Carpenter story.Follow us on social media!Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/heightenedbabblepodcast/TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@heightenedbabblepodcastFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/people/Heightened-Babble-Podcast/61585004459148/X: https://x.com/heightenedbabblBrad's YouTube: @BradWilliamsComedy Brad's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/bradwilliamscomicJB's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/jbballcomedyChapter Markers 00:00 – Cold open: hot dogs, teachers, strip clubs02:50 – Episode 43, "The Troy Polamalu" episode04:43 – Murakami's "I am a Japanese" viral clip introduced06:59 – The real baseball history behind the catchphrase08:11 – National Potato Day & Boxer Shorts Day08:55 – Celebrity birthdays: Theodore Roosevelt & John Cleese10:44 – Monty Python coconut horse bit12:14 – Tour dates: Las Vegas, Palazzo Theater13:00 – Florida tour run announced15:42 – TikTok and social media follow push17:56 – New EP: Giselle Barton reveal19:29 – Death By Dwarf hot sauce sponsor read20:24 – FCM: teacher sightings thread recap22:26 – Teacher at the strip club story23:19 – USPS student delivers package to chemistry teacher24:16 – Teacher selling hot dogs at a nude beach28:12 – Nana Rob Snyder's email: Savannah Banana Nanas32:11 – Petty garbage man story34:07 – Nana Fred's WASPy country club: "P***y Driver"37:12 – Nana Glen's BJ nickname mix-up email38:16 – Nana Rick Sanford's email: *Baby's Day Out* ball-stomp scene42:53 – Two Tall Tales intro43:07 – Atlanta Hawks "Single AF Night" story46:31 – Disco Demolition Night history48:03 – Dollar Beer Night & Brad's Baltimore heckler story54:26 – Quad City River Bandits "Circle of Life" promotion59:18 – Altoona Curve's "Awful Night" & gallbladder giveaway01:03:28 – "Who Wants to Be a Turkish Millionaire" night01:08:33 – Anaheim Ducks "Come Out and Play Night" callout01:10:47 – Two Tall Tales #2 intro: birds in underpants01:13:04 – The ten birds smuggling story breakdown01:20:43 – Attraction confessional segment begins01:24:29 – JB's Sabrina Carpenter discomfort01:30:54 – Episode recap & wrap-up01:34:04 – Sign-off & outro song ("Carl the Lobster")#podcast #comedy #comedian #comedians #funny #podcastclips

T-Rex Wedding Chaos, Paramedic Poop Heroics, & Brad's Worst Gig Ever | Heightened Babble Ep 42

Brad and JB kick off episode 42 with a chaotic cold open before diving into holiday nonsense: National Mozzarella Sticks Day, Office Chocolate Day, and National Chicken and Waffles Day, which sparks a surprisingly thoughtful bit on how food-based racial stereotypes always seem to target objectively delicious food. The guys riff on Applebee's mozzarella sticks, zodiac skepticism, and give a rundown of their upcoming Tall Tales Tour stops across Virginia and North Carolina before wishing producer Isaac a happy birthday (and roasting his "Arch Nemesis" special in the process). The First Class Mail segment brings a wave of unforgettable listener submissions: a grandson who rigged his dead grandfather's body with a "pop-up" surprise using Viagra and a wooden dowel, a paramedic who heroically saved a homeless man's life while violently soiling himself, and the now-infamous "Nana Nicholas," whose petty post-divorce revenge involved secretly stockpiling used condoms inside his ex-wife's California king bed frame. The guys also field listener questions about Dancing With the Stars, zombie movie deaths, and reminisce about Kong: Skull Island's most unhinged death scene.Too Tall Tales delivers two outrageous-but-true stories: a maid of honor who wore a full inflatable T-Rex costume to her sister's wedding with the bride's blessing, spiraling into a tangent about Jaden Smith's infamous white Batman suit from Kim and Kanye's wedding. The second story features a five-year-old child who called the police on his uncle for pushing him — only for officers to discover the "uncle" was also five, resolved by a playful mock court hearing. The segment inspires Brad and JB to pitch their own "Toddler Court" TV show concept, debating judges, punishments, and format with increasing absurdity. Brad closes the show recounting his all-time worst stand-up gig, performing immediately after a tearjerking in memoriam speech at a wedding.Follow us on social media!Join our Patreon www.patreon.com/HeightenedBabbleInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/heightenedbabblepodcast/TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@heightenedbabblepodcastFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/people/Heightened-Babble-Podcast/61585004459148/X: https://x.com/heightenedbabblBrad's YouTube: @BradWilliamsComedy Brad's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/bradwilliamscomicJB's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/jbballcomedyChapters00:00 – Cold open: pre-show banter and "Green Batman"01:01 – Intro: Welcome to Episode 4202:11 – Zodiac signs are scientifically wrong03:15 – National Materialistic Day & Applebee's mozzarella sticks love04:19 – National Chicken and Waffles Day05:12 – Food stereotypes aren't actually insults discussion07:27 – Office Chocolate Day jokes09:51 – Producer Isaac's birthday shoutout11:14 – Tall Tales Tour dates: Norfolk, Richmond, Durham, Roanoke13:31 – Tour info, specials, and social media plugs15:16 – Isaac Abrams' "Arch Nemesis" special plug17:16 – Patreon, executive producers shoutout17:43 – "Death by Dwarf" tangent19:41 – Intro to First Class Mail segment21:03 – WJO (driving while jerking off) story recap24:34 – Grandpa's Viagra pop-up funeral display story29:56 – Paramedic shits himself saving a homeless man's life32:14 – New Patreon Nana Tim's zombie movie question39:49 – Dancing With the Stars question42:20 – Nana Nicholas's condom bed revenge story49:44 – Story 1: Maid of honor's T-Rex wedding costume56:02 – Jaden Smith's white Batman suit tangent1:03:06 – Wedding speech banter & toddler court pitch begins1:11:26 – Story 2: Five-year-old calls 911 on five-year-old "uncle"1:17:32 – "Toddler Court"/"Kid Court" show pitch continues1:22:13 – Full recap of episode topics1:26:50 – Final listener call-to-action & sign-off#podcast #comedy #comedian #comedians #funny #podcastclips #HeightenedBabble #BradWilliams #JBBall #PodcastClips #ComedyPodcast #TwoTallTales #FirstClassMail #ViralStory #FunnyStories #PodcastHighlights

Dick In A Hole, Swinger Blackmail, & Wild Teacher Run-Ins | Heightened Babble Ep 41

In episode 41 of Heightened Babble, Brad Williams and JB Ball kick things off with their usual blend of calendar chaos and sports commiseration — celebrating National No Bra Day and National M&M Day, while JB nurses his wounds over the Chargers' winless record on "International Day of Failure." The guys dig into celebrity birthdays, landing on wrestler-turned-reality star Stacy Keebler, which spirals into a tangent about dwarf wrestling names, George Clooney's bachelor era, and Michael Douglas's wild dating history before Catherine Zeta-Jones.After plugging their stand-up tour dates across the Midwest and shouting out new executive producers on the Patreon, the duo heads into First Class Mail, reading listener comments about punny restaurant signs, a chaotically funny mishearing of their "digging a hole" sound clip, and a harrowing birthday story from longtime listener Cody about accidentally setting himself on fire with gasoline and styrofoam as a teenager. The conversation naturally drifts into real-life road stories of audience members catching fire or passing out mid-show.The back half of the episode features Two Tall Tales: first, a radio call-in about parents at a swingers party who recognize their daughter's new boyfriend from a past encounter, sparking a heated debate between Brad and JB about honesty, parental hypocrisy, and the ethics of lifestyle secrecy; second, a viral thread about the most awkward places teachers have run into their former students, including colonoscopies, delivery rooms, pharmacies, and nightclubs. The episode wraps with the hosts debating whether MLB needs a salary cap, taking shots at journalist Pablo Torre, and reminiscing about Nike history — all before closing out with listener shoutouts and tour plugs.Follow us on social media!Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/heightenedbabblepodcast/TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@heightenedbabblepodcastFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/people/Heightened-Babble-Podcast/61585004459148/X: https://x.com/heightenedbabblBrad's YouTube: @BradWilliamsComedy Brad's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/bradwilliamscomicJB's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/jbballcomedyChapter Markers- 00:00 – Cold Open- 02:31 – Intro & Celebrity/National Day Banter- 05:15 – No Bra Day & M&M Day Tangents- 06:50 – Chargers Losing Streak & "International Day of Failure"- 08:40 – Tour Dates & Executive Producer Shoutouts- 11:20 – Stacy Keebler Birthday & Dwarf Wrestling Names- 13:45 – George Clooney's Bachelor Era- 15:10 – Michael Douglas's Dating History- 16:12 – First Class Mail Begins- 18:30 – Punny Restaurant Signs- 21:05 – "Digging a Hole" Clip Mishearing- 24:40 – Cody's Birthday Fire Story- 28:15 – Road Stories: Fans Catching Fire- 30:35 – Road Stories: Fans Passing Out- 32:50 – Two Tall Tales: Swinger Parents Dinner Drama- 38:10 – Honesty & Parental Hypocrisy Debate- 44:25 – Lifestyle Secrecy Ethics Discussion- 50:48 – Two Tall Tales: Teachers Caught in Awkward Places- 56:30 – Colonoscopy & Delivery Room Encounters- 1:03:15 – Pharmacy & Nightclub Run-Ins- 1:11:00 – Baseball Salary Cap Debate- 1:15:40 – Pablo Torre Shots & Nike History- 1:19:30 – Listener Shoutouts & Tour PlugsHeightened Babble is what happens when two stand-up comedians who couldn’t be built more differently take on the world one ridiculous conversation at a time. Disneyland Farts, a Deadly DWJ & Diarrhea Dash to Victory | Heightened Babble episode 40

Brad and JB kick off episode 40 by celebrating National Noodle Day, National Coaches Day, and German-American Day — which JB promptly rebrands as "JB Ball Day" in honor of his own German heritage, leading into a detour about his actual citizenship status and a Dennis Schröder tangent. They give a happy birthday shoutout to WWE's The Miz, sharing surprisingly wholesome details about his real-life relationship, before diving into Tall Tales Tour announcements for upcoming stops in Ithaca, Stamford, and Charlestown. In "First Class Mail," JB finds himself on the defensive after an avalanche of listener backlash over his controversial claim that NASCAR isn't a "real" sport, reigniting the ongoing "what counts as a sport" debate from previous episodes. The hosts then move into lighter territory with a roundup of cats that resemble dictators (and a new category: cats that look like Steve Buscemi), before diving into a batch of listener-submitted stories. These include deeply unfortunate childhood nicknames like "Cummins" and "Comey," an aunt's unexpectedly impressive tennis showdown with Billie Jean King, a Disneyland cast member's infamous fart-on-a-baby incident, and a chaotic funeral story involving a Sonic drive-thru death and a disastrously mistranslated rendition of "Stairway to Heaven" played in Portuguese. The "Two Tall Tales" segment closes out the episode with two stranger-than-fiction news stories: a Detroit man whose cause of death is almost too outrageous to say out loud, and an Australian fitness competitor who had an "involuntary" bowel incident mid-competition — and tried to keep competing (and claim victory) anyway. Along the way, producer Isaac drops an unexpected personal confession that catches both hosts off guard.Follow us on social media!Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/heightenedbabblepodcast/TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@heightenedbabblepodcastFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/people/Heightened-Babble-Podcast/61585004459148/X: https://x.com/heightenedbabblBrad's YouTube: @BradWilliamsComedy Brad's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/bradwilliamscomicJB's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/jbballcomedy Chapter Markers00:00 – Cold open & intro to episode 4003:48 – National Noodle Day & Coaches Day06:17 – JB Ball Day (German-American Day) & citizenship talk10:38 – The Miz birthday & love story12:30 – Tall Tales Tour dates announced18:08 – Death by Dwarf hot sauce sponsor bit20:14 – First Class Mail: NASCAR "what is a sport" debate27:20 – Dictator cats & Steve Buscemi cats30:33 – Weird uncle nicknames ("Cummins"/"Comey")37:12 – Embarrassing childhood nicknames38:14 – Disneyland fart-on-a-baby story43:38 – Sonic drive-thru death funeral story49:13 – Portuguese "Stairway to Heaven" funeral mishap57:52 – Two Tall Tales: pantsless driver death story1:02:03 – Producer Isaac's confession1:10:21 – Fitness competition "explosive" victory story1:17:45 – Episode wrap-up & sign-off### Tags/Hashtags#HeightenedBabble #BradWilliams #JBBall #ComedyPodcast #FirstClassMail #TwoTallTales #TrueStory #FunnyStories #TallTalesTour #ComedyDuoHeightened Babble is what happens when two stand-up comedians who couldn’t be built more differently take on the world one ridiculous conversation at a time. Cattle Farm Catastrophe Gets Utterly Disgusting | Heightened Babble Episode 39

Brad and JB kick off episode 39 celebrating National Coffee Day and National Biscotti Day, along with wrestler birthdays for Swerve Strickland and the three-foot luchador Micro Man (who takes on the seven-foot-three Omos in a genuinely wild wrestling clip). They cover upcoming Tall Tales Tour dates in Asheville, Nashville, Cleveland, and Cincinnati, introduce new executive producer Ziggy Sharp, and plug Brad's "Death by Dwarf" hot sauce line. In "First Class Mail," the hosts dive into listener-submitted dating app horror stories (including a profile featuring a mirror, a camera, and a very exposed photographer known only as "But Man"), debate whether polo and the movie Cars count as "real" sports, and explore an elaborate funeral plan involving biodegradable balloons filled with a Nana's ashes. The "Two Tall Tales" segment covers two genuinely bizarre real headlines: a fire at an Australian cattle breeding farm that caused stored bull semen canisters to rupture and launch across the property, forcing firefighters to dodge flying debris, and a British zoo's mortifying autocomplete error that accidentally advertised a family-friendly wildlife tour as a "child predator tour." Both stories send Brad and JB into some of their most chaotic tangents yet, touching on Sylvester Stallone's polo-playing father, Michael Jackson conspiracy jokes, and the etymology of gay slang terms like "otter." The episode wraps with a running bit about updating the classic phrase "I'll fuck you up" to "I'll fuck you down," complete with a call for listeners to submit their own Keith Sweat-style tribute songs.Follow us on social media!Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/heightenedbabblepodcast/TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@heightenedbabblepodcastFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/people/Heightened-Babble-Podcast/61585004459148/X: https://x.com/heightenedbabblBrad's YouTube: @BradWilliamsComedy Brad's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/bradwilliamscomicJB's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/jbballcomedyChapter Markers00:00 – Cold open: cold open bits and headline previews02:09 – Intro to episode 3903:17 – Height jokes and dating profile bit03:17 – National Coffee Day & National Biscotti Day06:44 – Wrestler birthdays: Swerve Strickland & Micro Man09:12 – Tall Tales Tour dates announced13:07 – Hot sauce, sponsor plug & social links13:43 – Executive producer shoutouts (Ziggy Sharp)16:06 – Voicemail shoutout: Teddy17:10 – First Class Mail begins19:56 – "But Man" dating app photo story23:38 – Is polo a sport? debate begins28:03 – Is Cars a sports movie? tangent30:16 – Nana Cory's balloon ash-funeral idea39:29 – "Fuck you up" vs "fuck you down" bit40:59 – Bar fight story from Nathan54:24 – Two Tall Tales intro55:25 – Massive semen explosion story begins1:02:47 – Bull semen pricing tangent1:11:07 – Zoo "child predator tour" story begins1:15:29 – Autocomplete/AI proofreading tangent1:16:50 – Episode recap begins1:19:38 – Patreon/executive producer sign-off### Tags/Hashtags#HeightenedBabble #BradWilliams #JBBall #Podcast #ComedyPodcast #FirstClassMail #TwoTallTales #WeirdNews #TallTalesTour #ComedyDuo #FunnyStories #WrestlingHumorHeightened Babble is what happens when two stand-up comedians who couldn’t be built more differently take on the world one ridiculous conversation at a time. Dictator Cats, Serial Butt Sniffers & the Coffin Confessor | Heightened Babble episode 38

Brad and JB kick off episode 38 celebrating National White Chocolate Day (a tribute to NBA legend Jason Williams) and the autumnal equinox, which JB has now heard referenced exactly twice in his life. That spirals into a debate over vocabulary ("penultimate," "eclectic"), a detour into Brad's awkward Jennifer Love Hewitt/Taco Bell encounter, and a passionate breakdown of celebrity birthday lists — leading into news on tour dates for the Tall Tales Tour (Asheville, Nashville, Cleveland, and Cincinnati) and a shoutout to their newest executive producer. In First Class Mail, the hosts continue their long-running debate over what qualifies as a "real" sport, with JB defending his stance that NASCAR doesn't count (despite an impressive breakdown of aerodynamic drafting tricks) while Brad argues in NASCAR's favor. Listener emails cover the joys (and complications) of "first day of school" intimacy for parents, plus a hilarious follow-up on cats that resemble a certain European dictator — and other celebrities. Two Tall Tales features the real story of California's "serial butt sniffer," repeatedly arrested for stalking women in stores, leading to a deep dive into the science of contaminated farts, dating app horror stories, and O.J. Simpson-themed dating profiles. The final story covers Australia's real-life "Coffin Confessor," a man paid by dying clients to crash their own funerals and reveal secrets, expose affairs, and even deliver posthumous insults — spinning off into fantasy funeral pranks, stripper tributes, and a legendary story about a "Bang Bang, Niner Gang" chant met with dead silence at a real funeral. For bonus episodes and exclusive content join us on patreonWww.patreon.com/Heightenedbabble Follow us on social media!Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/heightenedbabblepodcast/TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@heightenedbabblepodcastFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/people/Heightened-Babble-Podcast/61585004459148/X: https://x.com/heightenedbabblBrad's YouTube: @BradWilliamscomedy Brad's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/bradwilliamscomicJB's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/jbballcomedyJB's YouTube:  @JBBallComedy  Isaac's Youtube :  @IsaacAbrams  Chapters00:00 – Cold open: Jennifer Love Hewitt/Taco Bell bit02:24 – Intro to episode 3803:36 – Word origins: penultimate & eclectic tangent06:20 – Hobbit Day & Lord of the Rings hot takes08:06 – National White Chocolate Day: Jason Williams09:15 – Celebrity birthday debate12:44 – Tall Tales Tour dates announced15:23 – Social links & Patreon/executive producer shoutouts17:17 – First Class Mail begins18:01 – The "what is a sport" debate (NASCAR)24:52 – First day of school listener email27:20 – Cats that look like dictators (and other celebrities)32:38 – Two Tall Tales intro33:00 – Serial butt sniffer story begins39:34 – The fart contamination "study" tangent51:29 – The Coffin Confessor story begins59:39 – Funeral pranks & stripper tribute videos1:03:23 – The "Bang Bang, Niner Gang" funeral story1:07:05 – Episode wrap-up & recap1:13:30 – Patreon/executive producer sign-offHeightened Babble is what happens when two stand-up comedians who couldn’t be built more differently take on the world one ridiculous conversation at a time. Dad Fights, One-Star Reviews, and The Class Soiree | Heightened Babble Ep 37

Brad Williams and JB Ball kick off episode 37 riffing on National Afro Day, running down the most legendary afros in history (Dr. J, Hendrix, Colin Kaepernick), and sharing a jaw-dropping true story about strongman-wrestler Mark Henry accidentally bending a real cast iron pot with his bare hands. They also dig into wrestler birthdays, uncovering the wild true story of Booker T robbing 26 Wendy's locations before becoming a five-time champion. In "First Class Mail," the guys revisit a previous episode's Hawaii "parenting other people's kids" debate (spoiler: the Nanas voted 97% in Brad's favor), plus listener stories about dads defending their kids from bullies, a Daniel Cormier playground standoff, and an incredible story about a man who stopped a home robbery at gunpoint... with his pants unzipped."Two Tall Tales" features a Florida steakhouse that hosts a monthly nude dining night (with a very memorable owner reveal), plus JB's unforgettable first encounter at a nudist resort ("Frank the Dick"). The second tale covers a Texas man arrested after leaving a glowing five-star Yelp review for the hitman service he hired — leading into a hilarious runoff of ridiculous one-star reviews for the Hollywood sign and the Grand Canyon.
