    47. Financial independence through entrepreneurship with Ayesha Khalid

    Ayesha Khalid is an impact enthusiast and a marketing and communications professional with 6 years of experience in different industries. She is a part of Global Shapers Lahore, a hub of World Economic Forum, working with other shapers to work on important impact projects including youth development and engagement, climate change and waste management. In 2019 she co-founded All Pakistan Women Movement, an initiative to make women financially independent. Till now we've trained more than 200 women entrepreneurs and have impacted more than 500,000 individuals through our awareness and advocacy initiatives.  She is currently working on the All Pakistan Women Movement (APWM), an initiative focused on training women to achieve financial independence. Currently, the organization is running its flagship program, the "Women Entrepreneurial Bootcamp," a 12-week intensive designed to develop entrepreneurial skills in young and aspiring entrepreneurs. The program includes 40 women from diverse industries such as fashion, beauty, education, healthcare, and many other fascinating fields. Over the 12 weeks, participants are equipped with essential tools and knowledge needed to launch and grow startups. Successful entrepreneurs from various industries are invited to share their insights, providing inspiration and real-world perspectives. In addition to the bootcamp, APWM offers one-on-one mentoring, corporate advocacy initiatives, focus group discussions, and awareness sessions. These activities foster meaningful dialogue on women's financial independence and further support their entrepreneurial journey.
