Steve Stockton's STRANGE MYSTERIES Episode #19 - There are stories that’ll keep you awake at night. Steve Stockton's STRANGE MYSTERIES Episode #17

Steve Stockton's STRANGE MYSTERIES Episode #17 - Welcome back to Strange Mysteries. I’m Steve Stockton, and in Volume 17 of our ongoing investigation into the world’s most baffling anomalies, we are opening the archive on ten incredible cases that blur the line between tragic true crime and inexplicable high strangeness. From a heartbreaking New England vanishing to terrifying poltergeists, cryptic broadcast hijackings, and unprecedented medical impossibilities, these true stories remain completely unsolved. Make sure to hit the LIKE button, SUBSCRIBE, and ring the notification bell so you never miss an investigation into the unknown. What are your theories on these bizarre cases? Let me know down in the comments! IN THIS EPISODE: 1. The Vanishing of Connie Smith (Connecticut, 1952) In one of New England's most tragic and baffling cold cases, 10-year-old Connie Smith walked out of Camp Sloane and vanished into thin air along U.S. Route 44. We strip away the urban legends to examine the terrifying historical facts of a vulnerable, visually impaired child who wandered alone down a busy highway. 2. The Bleeding House (Atlanta, 1987) An elderly couple called the police when human blood—Type O—began weeping from the walls and floors of their home. To this day, the source of the blood has never been identified. 3. The Silver Plume Mystery (Colorado, 1987–1988) A writer researching a historic disappearance in a remote mountain town goes missing himself under eerily similar circumstances, leaving behind only cryptic notes and a baffling trail. 4. Room 1046 (Kansas City, 1935) A highly paranoid man traveling under an alias is found brutally murdered inside a hotel room locked from the outside. The bizarre anonymous donations that paid for his funeral only deepened the mystery. 5. The Ghost Rider (California, 1992) Following a tragic, fatal car crash down a remote midnight embankment, multiple drivers reported a chilling sight: a motionless, pale woman standing in the dark by the side of the road staring at the wreckage. 6. The Southern TV Broadcast (England, 1977) A calm, synthesized voice identifying itself as "Vrillon" hijacks the audio of a live news broadcast for six minutes, delivering a cryptic ultimatum to humanity. The culprits were never caught. 7. The Devils Den Incident (Arkansas, 1975) Two campers experience a terrifying period of missing time and bizarre phenomena in the woods. Years later, a strange, manufactured anomaly is discovered embedded in one of their legs. 8. The Tallman House Intruders (Wisconsin, 1987) It started with a second-hand bunk bed, but what followed was one of the most violent poltergeist hauntings in American history, culminating in a terrifying encounter with a portal of churning fire in the basement. 9. The Haunting of Sears Island (Maine, 1970) An isolated woods carriage containing a porcelain doll becomes the center of a deeply unsettling local mystery when the doll is inexplicably replaced by a crude wooden cross. 10. The Empty Mechanism (Iowa, 2013) In one of the most unsettling medical mysteries of the modern era, 12-year-old Landon Jones woke up one morning with a complete, permanent absence of hunger and thirst—a terrifying biological disconnect that continues to baffle doctors.
