Indiana Pacers vs Clippers Recap: Defensive Struggles, Mathurin Revenge Game & Bench Scoring Questions

In this episode of Pacers Pulse, I break down the tough 130–107 loss for the Indiana Pacers against the Los Angeles Clippers. Indiana struggled defensively all night, gave up 130 points, lost the rebounding battle 47–38, and allowed the Clippers to dominate inside with 66 points in the paint. Despite the loss, Pascal Siakam delivered a strong offensive performance with 29 points on 8–14 shooting, continuing to be the Pacers’ most reliable scorer. I also discuss solid performances from Jay Huff, who added 18 points and four three-pointers, and Jarace Walker, who contributed an all-around stat line with 17 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists. One of the biggest storylines of the night was the revenge performance from former Pacer Bennedict Mathurin, who dominated in limited minutes with 23 points on 8–11 shooting, making a huge impact for Los Angeles. I also dive into a bigger question facing Indiana moving forward: Are the Pacers missing a true bench scorer now that Mathurin is gone? In the second half of the episode, I discuss potential offseason targets that could help solve that problem. If you enjoy Indiana Pacers analysis, NBA game breakdowns, and Pacers roster discussions, make sure to follow Pacers Pulse for more episodes. 🎙️ Be sure to subscribe, leave a review, and share your thoughts: Do the Pacers need to add another scorer off the bench, or will internal development solve the problem? Is Cam Boozer the Best Pick for the Pacers? Full Fit Breakdown & Scouting Report

In today’s episode of the Pacers Pulse Podcast, I dive deep into Cam Boozer’s full scouting report and break down exactly how he fits the Indiana Pacers’ system on both offense and defense. We look at his size, skill set, production at Duke, and how his playstyle translates to the Pacers’ fast-paced, read-and-react offense built around Tyrese Haliburton and Pascal Siakam. You’ll hear how Boozer could fit as a DHO hub, pick-and-roll threat, floor spacer, and high-IQ rebounder, plus what he brings defensively in terms of physicality, versatility, and team awareness. We also go through his biggest weaknesses: foot speed, limited vertical pop, decision-making vs doubles, and how coachable those areas are. Finally, I answer the big question: Is Cam Boozer the best pick for the Pacers in this draft? I evaluate his upside, long-term fit with the core, and where he stacks up compared to other top prospects. If you’re a Pacers fan wanting draft coverage, prospect analysis, or a deeper look at how Boozer could impact Indiana’s future, this episode has you covered. Is AJ Dybantsa the Best Pick for the Pacers? Full Draft Fit Breakdown & Offensive/Defensive Analysis

In today’s episode of the Pacers Pulse Podcast, we dive deep into whether AJ Dybantsa is the right pick for the Indiana Pacers in the upcoming 2026 NBA Draft. I break down Dybantsa’s full scoring profile, his elite rim pressure, foul-drawing ability, midrange shot creation, and how his offensive game would fit next to Tyrese Haliburton, Pascal Siakam, and newly acquired center Ivica Zubac. We also examine his defensive outlook, from his 6’9 frame and 6’11 wingspan to the concerns around consistency, positioning, and off-ball awareness. Could the Pacers develop him into the two-way wing they’ve been missing since Paul George, or would his usage and ball-dominant style clash with Rick Carlisle’s system? I finish the episode with my final verdict on whether AJ Dybantsa is the best choice among the top prospects on the board and whether his strengths outweigh the concerns for Indiana’s long-term future.
