Scott Van Pelt and Stanford Steve are here to share their biggest takeaways from NFL Week 4. Starting in New Orleans, SVP and Steve share their experiences in the Big Easy honoring the Saints’ infamous punt block 20 years ago on MNF after Hurricane Katrina. SVP discusses how special the Domecoming scene was before the game and what it meant to talk with Steve Gleason, Trombone Shorty and others. The guys then get into the Falcons’ dominant win over the Saints, sharing takeaways from Michael Penix and Bijan Robinson’s performances. Three teams are 4-0, which one is the best? Why Stanford Steve thinks it’s NONE of them, and that the Jaguars have the rightful claim to the league’s best team through a month of ball. The Carolina Panthers are on the rise and Steve is waving the Bryce Young MVP flag. Too soon? Or is he finally emerging as a top-tier QB in the league. Penalties are at an all-time high across the league, leaving SVP frustrated and befuddled, and also nostalgic on what particular ref’s holding call gesture. Additionally, the guys talk the MLB playoffs, Georgia-Alabama, Tom Kim’s amazing win, the 0-4 Texans, how football used to be played in ANY type of weather and of course, Pooptown. | SVPod Approx. Throw it to 4

Scott Van Pelt and Stanford Steve recap the CFB Week 5 slate, discussing Alabama's dominant win over Mississippi State, Ohio State's win over Iowa, Missouri's drubbing of Florida and more. Plus, Steve gives a full recap from his experience in Iowa City, specifically the powerful interactions experienced in the Children's Hospital. How GOOD is Keelon Russell and Alabama? Ohio State threw it to 4, which continues to be a good gameplan, as the Buckeys flexed their muscle and showed why they should still be considered one of the most dangerous teams in the nation. Missouri crushed Florida by 28 points for one of the biggest shockers of the day, as Austin Simmons is beginning to look like the quarterback many thought he would be. Minnesota got it done at home over Michigan for the first time in nearly 50 years, as the Gophers continue to prove why they're not an easy out. Kentucky remains a pesky team and picked up another huge win in Will Stein's first year as the Cats got it done on the road over South Carolina, pulling off the biggest comeback in UK history. Notre Dame avoided an upset in rainy Chapel Hill, Indiana and Georgia rolled, Nebraska put Maryland away in the 4th after the Terps had a big chance to build a dominant lead earlier in the ball game and USC found a way over Washington. All that and more, including thoughts on Northwestern-Penn State, Texas Tech-Colorado, BYU-TCU, Tennessee-Auburn, Baylor, NC State, Wake Forest, Pitt-Virginia Tech and Houston-UCF. And last but certainly not least - what a performance from Yale's Dante Reno. Approx. Crops

Scott Van Pelt and Stanford Steve Coughlin react to the LOADED college football Week 4 slate. The guys begin with Crops' MASSIVE win at Michigan that has clear College GameDay implications. How Iowa pulled off the walk-off win as Hank Brown tossed the game-winning score. Then onto Knoxville where Texas got it done in a place that is difficult to do so. SVP also adds his thoughts on Colin Simmons' controversial and penalized celebration. LSU and Georgia picked up blowout SEC wins but Oklahoma and Texas A&M... yikes. Florida delivered in The Swamp taking down fourth-ranked Ole Miss in a game that showed what the Jon Sumrall Gators are all about. And how about Wisconsin! The Badgers went into Happy Valley and pulled off the upset that the Badger program desperately needed. Oregon went on the road and defeated USC by two touchdowns in an emotional one that saw Dante Moore get knocked out of the game by Desman Stephens II, who celebrated after the fact. SVP and Steve share their thoughts on Stephens' antics... Plus, Jake Dickert and Wake Forest proved Steve right with a big upset win at Louisville, Super Kamario Taylor kept his great season going as Mississippi State takes down Missouri, Alabama dominated South Carolina behind Keelon Russell, Jeremiah Smith and Ohio State breezed past Illinois, Boise State and Cincinnati got good wins, Oklahoma State flexed its muscle late at West Virginia en route to a big win and Notre Dame and Miami continued to roll. Finally, SVP shares his thoughts on Maryland's 51-point loss to UCLA and Steve gave a full rundown of the Knoxville experience and how the College GameDay crew beautifully navigated and incredibly difficult day. SVP is buying MOST of the 2-0s… but not all. Injuries headline the week as Caleb Williams, Jayden Daniels and Jaxson Dart all went down, and SVP acknowledges how one play can unfortunately derail a team’s entire season. Plus, a word on the Steelers offense being in ROUGH shape, the Broncos bounce back, the Chargers’ DISASTROUS start and more. It’s a big weekend in college football and Steve is headed to Rocky Top to see who the real UT is between Tennessee and Texas. Don't Give Your Crops Away

SVP and Stanford Steve Coughlin recap the Texas Longhorns miracle comeback over the Ohio State Buckeyes, the Oregon Ducks’ stunning defeat to Oklahoma State and more. Texas scored 21 4th quarter points en route to a program-defining comeback win. The guys break down the game from every angle, and Steve offers his takeaways from a first-person point of view as the Big Man was boots on the ground in DKR. Madness ensued earlier in the day, too, as Oklahoma State - who got wrecked by Tulsa in Week 1 - pulled off the unthinkable and knocked off Oregon, who has not looked good to start the season. What to make of Dan Lanning's group and QB Dante Moore, who struggled late against the Pokes. Michigan bounced back with a nice 17-10 win over Oklahoma in the Big House. The guys discuss what allowed the Wolverines to pickup the huge win and leave the Western Michigan fiasco a thing of the past. Additionally, Alabama blanked Kentucky 32-0 in the second half to easily get out of trouble in Lexington, Tennessee largely rolled to a stress-free road win over Georgia Tech, Mississippi State dominated Minnesota, Iowa won the CyHawk Game despite trailing early, Texas Tech held on in "mean" Corvallis, the ACC had a nice day, Steve's Big 12 prediction is looking better and better by the week, and the Dirty Terps kept vibes high in the Rent.
