    Welcome to Folu's Odyssey podcast

    Hi, I’m Foluke, and this is Folu’s Odyssey. I started this podcast because I’ve always had a lot of thoughts about life, relationships, motherhood, friendship, faith, business, skincare, growth, identity, and all those little things that make us stop and think. This is a space for honest conversations, personal reflections, and the things I’m learning and unlearning along the way. I definitely don’t have life figured out, and I’m not here to pretend that I do. Sometimes, I’m just thinking out loud and inviting you into the conversation. Interestingly, my very first episode happens to be a Bible study with my children. I had all these ideas about what my first episode should be and how I wanted to introduce the podcast. And somehow, the first thing that ended up here was a conversation with my children about the Bible. And honestly, I’m okay with that. I wouldn’t have it any other way. Because if Folu’s Odyssey is going to be a reflection of my life, then my faith, my children, and the things we learn together are very much a part of that life. So maybe this is exactly how it was supposed to begin. Welcome to my Odyssey. ❤️ Let’s talk.

    A Morning in the Word with My Children

    This was completely unplanned. This morning, I recorded our Bible study because I wanted to send it to my husband. I listened back to it afterwards and thought, this is something I would have loved to have as a resource when my children were younger. So, almost by coincidence, this became the very first episode of Folu’s Odyssey. We started recording a little late, so this isn't the beginning of our conversation. It's simply a little glimpse into our morning together, opening God's Word, talking through what we were learning, and allowing my children to ask questions and share their thoughts. My daughter, in particular, asked some really profound questions that made me stop and think, and I loved hearing how the conversation unfolded. I decided to share this because perhaps another parent can listen with their children, use the topic as a starting point for a conversation, or simply spend a little time in the Word together. It wasn't planned. It wasn't perfect. It was just one ordinary morning with my children, learning about God together. And somehow, it became the beginning of this journey. Welcome to Folu's Odyssey. 🤎
