What if Darth Vader Survived Return of the Jedi?

In Return of the Jedi we witnessed Darth Vader save his son by killing the Emperor and fulfilling the prophecy of the Chosen One. However, because of his sacrifice, he unfortunately died just minutes later, as he looked at Luke with his own eyes one last time... But what if things were different? What if he still killed the Emperor, but never died?
