A Dancers Perspective

Chavonne Burgin

Welcome to the Podcast channel of A Dancers Perspective where we provide a platform for dancers and performers to talk about their perspectives and experiences in the industry. Our guests will include a variety of performers that are at different stages of their career and dive into their perspectives on  topics such as  training, auditioning processes, their gig life and work and how they have navigated the industry. This platform is not another self help platform where we give you the cookie cutter step by step plans on becoming a professional dancer but rather provide a community. A community where we bring together dancers to talk about their experiences that can help you feel like you're not the only one thinking a certain way  and also help provide you insight on certain topics that can help encourage you on your own professional journey. If you have a topic that you would like to hear someone's perspective on or you think you have a pretty interesting perspective get in touch!

Sunday Sip - Practical review of a New Year Perspective

Send us a text In this episode, we dive into the practical work behind creating a new perspective for 2026 Think the kind of work that happens off the stage, off social media, and in the quiet moments with yourself. We reflect on the personal homework we’ve been giving ourselves to shift old patterns, challenge our thinking, and build mental strength that actually lasts. The conversation naturally opens into the role of social media — access, boundaries, comparison, and what it really means to let people have a window into your life while still protecting your energy. We also begin to unpack a big question that will shape the week ahead:  how do we define success? This episode sets the foundation for the next layer of practical work, inviting you to question the definitions you’ve inherited and start creating ones that feel true to you.
