    The Murder of Lisa Valdez

    Lisa Valdez was 36 years old when her life was senselessly taken. In a murder that perplexed investigators for over a decade. Lisa was found in her apartment in a gated community, but after all those detectives thought she knew were ruled out, the case went cold. It wouldn't be for years and the idea of using genealogy, the case would be solved. Anthony murdered Lisa, was sentenced to 16 years, and is likely back out of the streets as this time.     The Canadian Crippler-Chris Benoit

    Chris Benoit was born and raised in Canada. At a young age, he was exposed to the world of professional wrestling. From that time on, he trained, hoping to become a member of this world. After graduating from high school, he kept at it and soon made his debut in Canada. As his fame grew, he went to Japan. Then into the US. He was a sensation, earning his name after a mishap in the ring where he broke his opponent's neck.  While he had a steady career, his home life was anything but. He married twice. His second wife Nancy and he were separated multiple times throughout the years. At one point Nancy filed for divorce before the two patched it up. Then in 2007 a horrific double murder-suicide. Chris murdered his wife and son before taking his own life. The community was stunned. But everyone wondered, was this the result of steroid over-use.     Aileen Wournos

    Aileen is known as the Queen of Female Serial Killers.  Born in Michigan and treated poorly, she learned by age 11 she could use her body to get things she wanted. By 15 she ran away from home, shortly after she was on the road for good. First to Colorado where she was arrested for the first time. Then on to Florida. There she met  Tyria and decided she needed to provide for her through sex work and robbery. Something switched and she began shooting those that picked her up, killing seven men in total. Aileen confessed to all the murders and eventually gave up appeals and requested to be put to death.     Attica Prison Riot

    In 1971, Attica New York one prison was housing almost double the maximum number of inmates it should. They showered once a week, their food was inedible, they received only one roll of toilet paper a month. If you were Muslim, you didn't have any non-pork options and weren't allowed to conduct any religious services.  After tensions mounted, a riot broke out. For four days it lasted in which inmates demanded humanity. They brought in the media to see their deplorable conditions.  The prison was taken back on the fourth day in a poorly executed plan. The responding officers killed ten of the hostages, almost thirty inmates, and wounded ninety more. A civil suit on the case wasn't resolved until 2000, when the state had to pay over $12 million to the affected inmates.  Sources: Charles Rivers Editors: 2026.     Wade Wilson

    Wade Wilson is known as the Deadpool killer. In reality he is simply a man who decided to kill two women who did nothing but be in the wrong place at the wrong time.  Wade had a history of being a violent partner, unhinged when taking drugs. He raped, at least one woman, stabbed a man, and ultimately murdered two.  He is known for his looks, which he tarnished with his Swastika's while awaiting trial.  Thankfully his biological dad did the right thing, turning him in after Wade confessed.     MMIW-June

    June's MMIW episode. Another six women whose cases are all unresolved. A theme that seems more and more familiar. A couple of women where foul play may be likely, but police labeled it as accidental or not homicide. Families in every case continued to be left without answers or resolve.     Harvey Glatman

    Harvey seemed off from a young age, though his mother seemed to disagree. By 17 he was in trouble with the law, attacking women on the street. From robbing, fondling, then advancing to rape and murder after a couple stints in prison. Harvey ended up using his camera to lure his targets into a false sense of security. In the end he killed three women and attempted to murder another, but she put up a fight that resulted in his capture.     Alpha Dog

    15-year-old Nick Markowitz was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Kidnapped in an attempt to lure out older brother Ben. Unfortunately, Ben was out of town. After Jesse James Hollywood realized he had committed a serious act, he went to his lawyer. But the conversation didn't go as he wanted, and he wanted to dispose of the evidence of kidnapping. Instead of kidnapping, he graduated to murder. Having one of his lackies kill Nick. Jesse Hollywood fled and managed to avoid detection for years, even while he sat on the top of the FBI's most wanted list.
