    Dominic Myers (Episode 6)

    n this episode, we'll be speaking to Dominic Myers. Dom has been a developer for about nine years now and is currently focusing mainly on front-end development. He had a diverse career working as a mental health nurse for the NHS for many years, where he increased his qualification to Bachelors Degree from a Nursing Diploma. He went back to university to do a conversion Masters degree in computer science before career switching. He's recently written a book called 'Front-End Developer' that scheduled for release at the end of 2019 (https://www.amazon.co.uk/Front-End-Developer-BCS-Guides-Roles/dp/1780174764/), its target audience is people looking to start as a Front-end Developer

    Eddie Andress (Episode 5)

    In this episode we'll be talking to Eddie Andress. Eddie has an impressive academic career prior to becoming a software developer, studying epigenetics and gaining a PhD in 2009. He took a gamble and got into software development without 100% knowing where it would lead and went to Makers Academy bootcamp. After 3 years of working for the MoJ (including setting up and running their first data hackathon) he decided to return to Makers as a coach, where he is now.

    Paula Muldoon (Episode 4)

    In this episode we'll be talking to Paula Muldoon. Paula is a world class violinist. After a successful career in one of the most competitive working environments she decided to pursue something that challenged her more intellectually. We'll be talking about some of the practical reasons she chose programming and her experience of doing a remote, online based course through the Makers Academy bootcamp. We'll also be hearing about Paula's opinion of PHP and her more recent move into full stack javascript.

    Lewis Jones (Episode 3)

    In this episode we talk to Lewis Jones. Lewis finished an Art degree before getting into retail for a few years. He took a chance in stepping into a more technical support analyst role and eventually went to a bootcamp to become a software developer about 3.5 years ago. He's now a senior software engineer at Simply Business.

    Tom Gallacher (Episode 2)

    In this episode we talk to Tom Gallacher. Tom has an impressive career that kicked off with 13 years in experimental physics (including a Doctorate that he's way too modest about). After switching into coding he's had a wide range of roles including backend, frontend and devops positions. He's a humble Scot with a great sense of humour and some interesting reflections on his path to becoming a software developer.

    Ella Schofield (Episode 1)

    In this episode we talk to Ella Schofield. Ella has a fascinating background that begins with her dropping out of school at 14, we pick up with her 4 years into her coding career having spent many years working in clubs, ski resorts and charities before doing a coding bootcamp (Makers Academy) in London in 2014.
