Where in his podcast Hello Internet he is one of two dudes talking, the video’s he makes are mostly comprised of one dude not talking. Gathering information, reading books, searching the internet, mailing people, ignoring incoming emails, optimising workflow. Do this for a month and a 4 minute video comes rolling out. Filled to the brim with facts, little jokes, stick figures and then some more facts.
Do you want to know the difference between Holland and the Netherlands? Or maybe the difference between the UK, Great Britain and England? Need more information on how the animal kingdom (a prejudice free comparison to human politics) rules its affairs? How to become the pope?
My answer to these would be ‘not really, no’. Your answer may be the same. Yet after I started watching these video’s I realised I did want to know all these things. Why? Because it’s short, fast, funny, nicely animated, pleasingly narrated, super dense with facts and not least of all trustworthy.
Last note: while I dislike the mostly meaningless star rating system, this is a list of videos I heartily recommend and giving it 5 stars will help its cause. And so I have.
