(Very) “Good”

After just a few episodes of this Podcast I started doing Jiu Jitsu.
Soon after that I built a home gym and work out every single day now.
Just being exposed to Jocko’s mindset makes all the “hard” stuff in life good fun.

Thanks for helping me grab ahold of the steering wheel 💪

Greetings from Amsterdam

Doc NJ ,

Wednesday is Jocko Podcast day.

The Jocko Podcast is without a doubt my favorite podcast.
I listen to the new podcast every week ASAP, before moving on to other podcasts that day/week. After reading Extreme Ownership (took me a week to finish and loved it ever since), I gited the book twice. One to one of my higher ups and one to a friend. Both of them loved the book. The book Extreme Ownership and the Jocko Podcast helped me in all I do. Coaching candidates, it helped me develop a better (working) relationship with my higher ups and it helps me leading my own company (a S&C gym). It also helps me get after my own goals.

Learning to endure hardships

Jocko has taught me lot of insight about war history, strategy, personal relationships. Most of all, it helps me have a stable ground to work from – reminding me that hardships are to be overcome and that freedom comes from discipline. His podcast is part of a select few (Tim Ferris and Sam Harris) of which I listen to everything.
The conversation with Echo also gives it something personal and amiable where I don’t feel like I have to reach up to Navy SEAL level to grow as a person.
