What’s the fuss about the pronunciation? To me its like splitting hairs. This podcast is about the possible brutal killing of two young girls and about the many many other woman in Latin America who went missing or died under suspicious circumstances. About the marginalisation of Latin American woman, especially on issues of social importance. Thinking that a mispronounced name is a vital part of this podcast and determines the journalistic qualities of the host? Than you completely and utterly missed the message. Btw, I wonder if the teamed up Dutchies know how to pronounce all the Spanish names featured in the podcast in the same way as the native Spanish speakers do…. The only reason i give it 4* is because i hoped for an even more thorough investigation with a better outcome, a reopening of the case maybe, as happened during the teachers pet podcast.

Great work, respectfully told although it remains a horrible case. My thoughts are with the girls and their families. I like Mariana’s style as a narrator. Pronunciation didn’t bother me. As said, Dutchies don’t pronounce so well themselves in other languages. A Dutchie

This is a much needed podcasts which from te first two episodes and the after show seems well done. However, what is missing is a Dutch angle since the girls are Dutch, work was done from the Netherlands to find the girl and recover their remains. Most notabely the hosts mispronounce Lisanne’s name all the time. This shows a lack of respect and or in depth research into their culture and the Dutch angle. A shame really, because the makers woeker very hard on this. How could they have left out their native country? Would have been 5/5 if they would have collaborateurs with a Dutch journalist also.
