Brands are things that I never really thought about when I was younger. I knew and trusted certain brands based on some reputation that I subliminally learned from…somewhere. Sure I've set up non profits, I've represented businesses professionally around the world, I have been a part of a larger brand that someone worked hard to create. But as someone with zero marketing finesse, I was shocked when I was interviewing for a job internally years ago, and someone mentioned that I had a strong brand. Me? Anti Marketing - having a brand? We all have a brand, whether it's literally a company that we own or a company we represent, or figuratively as one we put out in the world. And if you're like me, someone who hasn't put much thought into what having a brand means, and why you should care about protecting it - this episode is for you.
