    Drea takes us to a fantasy land where all different kinds of professions that could exist if reality would allow it. These professions are all well-paid, full of benefits, and takes care of any financial needs you may have. This eventually turns into a really large commercial building to house all of the different professions that the group comes up with. Tina wants on-site daycare so she can do yarn things in peace. Meg wants someone to inspect her hanks for knots before she winds them. Jess suggests a needle repair place, like a cobbler. Meg suggests a pattern librarian (Drea mentions a Fiber Archivist) who can maintain patterns and provide recommendations based on the types of patterns you like.     Jess starts the episode about the crazy weather changes and not having the desire to knit with cotton during the summer even though it's popular to do so. This delves into having time to knit but dealing with different kinds of fatigue issues like choice or physical types. Jess talks about getting distracted by cinematic video game playthroughs when they try to knit.     Meg opens up the floor after a bit of a hiatus from posting new episodes due to the state of the world, in particular for the cast considering they live in the United States. Drea's coping by making really delicious bread, learning crochet, and watching Frank play God of War while watching Star Gate. Tina relays that her father was also a giant Star Gate fan and they watched together when she was younger. Tina talks about how the internet is a hot mess due to the amount of small businesses closing up shop. Meg discusses how in times of uncertainty, the fiber arts economy tends to suffer because its considered more of a luxury. Big buys of yarn is not in the cards while actual crafting, sewing, mending, and more is definitely higher for practical usage. Drea mentions patching up ladies' sweaters at work. Meg talks about the downsizing of bases used for Critical Hit Dyes. Jess talks about how the algorithm is pushing certain types of content creators off folks' feeds in our current divisive environment. Don't worry, Meg's mom is buying her quilting fabric online now, so she's all good! Tina discusses the fake funny story how Michaels and Joann's were once a married couple, fought about what a craft store should be, and they got divorced and made their own stores. Jess reminisces about "cosplay" days to grab fabrics for different costumes. Drea mentions she is making out well with the yarn sales from the liquidation. Meg offers the idea of giving turtles to random people to help with Drea's excessive crochet turtle problem. Tina asks our listeners to send in questions they may have about our different projects we work on such as yarn dyeing, pattern designing, and podcasting to help us create mini bonus episodes to sprinkle into our regular episode releases.
