Talking compost this week and digging into a solution for food waste at an industrial scale. Introducing ORCA - The Organic Refuse Conversion Alternative, which is turning food waste into water with a low energy, passive system, that is the fastest turn out for composting I've heard of AND, it matches the rest of the kitchen appliances. Wow. Seriously, this conversation with Ellie Porter of ORCA is a great one, check it out and the links below to learn more!

131 • An Act of Justice

Overcoming poverty is not a gesture of charity. It is an act of justice. This week on the pod I chat with Stephanie Guyatt, owner and operator of Under One Sun, a group of artisans from all around the world who are overcoming poverty and restoring dignity through artistry. Beyond the incredible upcycled use of materials such as 55 gallon steel drums, broken glass tumbled smooth, paper, and scrap aluminum and copper, we also chat social justice, the 'white saviour' complex, and being part of a global and local community to restore dignity to all. Learn more at the links below + thanks for listening!

I finally participated in Loop Store, the company partnering with big brands to offer products in reusable, returnable packaging to build circularity into our economy. Also, here's a handful of my favourite podcasts to get you through the tough times because darn it, there are too many of those lately.
