POST-GAME: Vancouver Canucks vs Winnipeg Jets (April 18, 2024)
The Canucks flew to Winnipeg to face the Jets in the final game of this regular season. There wasn't much left to play for and with all the playoff spots already clinched, so a few of the Canucks big guns stayed home to rest for the playoffs in Vancouver...which we now know will start Sunday vs Nashville. POST-GAME: Vancouver Canucks vs Calgary Flames (April 16, 2024)
The Canucks played their final home game of the regular season, and the home fans were treated to the return of Thatcher Demko, who has missed the last 14 games with an injury, and #35 picked up right where he left off, stopping 39 of 40 shots, leading the Canucks to a 4-1 win over Andrei Kuzmenko and the Flames. The Canucks were at home facing the Arizona (for now) Coyotes in game #79 of the regular season, as Vancouver looked to inch closer to clinching the Pacific Division. In the end, the Arty Party ended and instead it was a birthday party for Dylan Guenther as he put up 4 points to lead the Yotes to a 4-3 win over the Canucks. POST-GAME: Vancouver Canucks vs Vegas Golden Knights (April 8, 2024)
It was a night of milestones for Vancouver as Arturs Silovs is put to his biggest test yet in the NHL against the Vegas Golden Knights... and as he seems to do at every level, the kid won. Silovs improves to 3-0 on the season, Connor Garland plays his 400th game in the NHL and JT Miller reaches 100 points for the first time. All these are impressive numbers, but the biggest milestone in the hearts of Canucks fans on this night was Brock Boeser reaching 40 goals! Vancouver fell to the LA Kings as the Canucks limp their way toward the post season. Vancouver put 42 shots on net to LA's 29, but in the end it was the Kings doubling up the Canucks by a score of 6-3.
