    The Netflix original movie "Hubie Halloween" (2020) is a family/comedy/horror film about Hubie Dubois, a figure of mockery for kids and adults who is devoted to his hometown of Salem and its Halloween celebration. But when something goes bump in the night this year, it's up to Hubie to save Halloween. Directed by Steven Brill and written by Adam Sandler & Tim Herlihy, it stars Adam Sandler, Kevin James, Julie Bowen, Ray Liotta, Steve Buscemi, Rob Schneider, and has cameos of many other Sandler regulars.     Directed and written by the legendary Stephen King, "Maximum Overdrive" (1986) is an insane action/comedy/horror/sci-fi movie that stars Emilio Estevez, Pat Hingle, and Yeardley Smith about a group of people who try to survive in a highway diner when machines start to come alive and become homicidal. But did you know that it's based on Stephen King's 1973 short story "Trucks"? What is the Babadook? Is it a real monster? Or is it a suppressed hateful/violent part of Amelia's psyche?
