Over the years I have heard and experienced some great adventures and stories that I wanted to share with you.  My hope is to turn these stories into an auditory experience that its a little bit different from your normal podcast.     Yasiel Puig Debut│A Historic First CBL Game│Toronto vs Kitchener Recap

    Send us Fan Mail The Canadian Baseball League made its professional debut at Christie Pits in Toronto on May 10th 2026. The Maple Leafs took on the Kitchener Panthers in a game that had a wide variety of baseball fans tuning in. The most popular player in the game was former MLB All-Star Yasiel Puig who was making his debut in the new league. Ben Pickell recently finished his junior hockey career playing for the Sarnia Sting of the Ontario Hockey League. His journey to get to this point was a rollercoaster with many challenges along the way. They are playing their third game in 3 days and lost 9-1 to Brooks last meeting. The Panthers know that to beat Brooks that have to do something different. In this episode we put a bow on Beyond the Buck and dive into the Panthers game plan to try and win the Centennial Cup. A game against the best team in the country the Brooks Bandits.  After a key overage player was suspended Pickering plays a do or die game vs Flin Flon in the quarterfinals. The players know that any loss now would mean the end of eight of their teammates careers. Cael Cavallin, Ethan Lindsay, Matthew Altomare and Ryan Johnstone help tell the story.
