Something Was Wrong

Ik heb de eerste twee seizoenen beluisterd en vond ze heel boeiend en goed verteld. Tiffany heeft een prettige stem. Ik vind alleen de achtergrondmuziek niet prettig en geen toegevoegde waarde hebben.

Riveting story, but too heavy on retelling the drama and not enough reflection. Seriously, how can these girls read endlessly from the texts with Brody? That they took him for real the first time is baffling, that they can go through their drama so thoroughly again is mind boggling. Granted, it is addictive listening material, very sensational and all. But after 5 or 6 episodes the lack of reflection and analysis is starting to itch and itch and itch. Please, pick up speed in the narrative.

Tiffany is an amazing interviewer and host.

[finishing S1] I felt such relief when I found out that Sarah survived and is able to tell her story, because I usually get to hear those stories through a true crime podcast host months and years later when the Dick has already moved on or is serving some unmatched the crime sentence. I am loudly irreligious and rolled my eyes a lot at how companioned and gracious Sarah and her family are. But I appreciate it and am a big Emily fan. What I don’t buy is that Dick voluntarily wanted to wait for after marriage. I will cast a broad net when I say this, but most men don’t want to wait and love bomb their victims, because they can’t perform. I have one hope for season two and that is audio quality of the recorded conversations to improve and not have to listen to one participant in only one ear and the other only in the other ear.
