    In the second episode of the curated by podcast, festival directors Attilia Fattori Franchini and Christina Linher are in conversation with Fatima Hellberg (director of mumok – Museum Moderner Kunst Stiftung Ludwig, Vienna) and Ariana Reines (writer and poet, New York). Together, they discuss what it means to approach love as an orientation, Ariana’s brilliant essay accompanying this year’s festival, Kate Millett’s installation Terminal Piece (1972), currently exhibited at mumok, and its role in re-envisioning the museum’s collection, as well as the profound power of exhibition-making and poetry to reorient the soul.

Oliver Koerner von Gustorf lives and works as a freelance author and art critic in Berlin-Schlachtensee. He writes for newspapers and magazines such as Monopol, Weltkunst, 032c, taz, Tip, Tagespiegel, Freitag. From 2007 to 2014 he ran the gallery SEPTEMBER, where he showed artists such as Dorothy Iannone, Johannes Paul Raether, Marc Brandenburg and also published catalogs. He has a column on Monopol Online, “Form & Haltung”, in which he writes endless essays on art, politics, culture and exhibition reviews. 2023 he received the ADKV Prize for Art Criticism. Tessa Praun is a curator, educator, and writer based in Stockholm. Praun served as director and chief curator of Magasin III Museum for Contemporary Art until 2024. She is currently establishing The Wanderlust Institute of Art, a platform for independent projects.

The discussion also highlights her personal experiences and the unique cultural landscape of Vienna. Camille Regli is an independent curator based in Zurich and Biel/Bienne, Switzerland. During her London years, she worked with galleries such as Lisson Gallery, Richard Saltoun, and Luxembourg & Dayan, as well as institutions including the Swiss Pavilion at the Venice Biennale, the Istanbul Biennale, and the Centre d’art contemporain Genève. In 2020, she co-founded contemporary art centre KRONE COURONNE in Biel/Bienne, which she still runs and co-directs. Her curatorial work is shaped by an ongoing interest in the performativity of bodies and spaces, theatricality, and the use of speculative fiction and feminist readings to challenge reflection and foster collective imagination. She has curated exhibitions with the curatorial collective Collectif Détente, and collaborated with institutions including Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo, Kunsthaus Biel/Centre d’art Bienne, and the City of Geneva. In 2023–24, she was a scientific collaborator in the “Art Fundamentals” class at EPFL’s School of Architecture in Lausanne. Most recently, in 2025, she was invited as section curator at the art fair STAGE Bregenz.
