Top 5 Saddle Hunting Products You Need for 2026 plus Latitude vs Arsenal Breakdown

Taylor Philpot of Revive Outdoors sells both brands, hunts out of both, and hears what customers say when gear comes back — so we put Latitude and Arsenal side by side and went through the whole thing. This is a straight comparison: saddles against saddles, sticks against sticks, platforms against platforms. Where each brand wins, where each one falls short, and which system makes more sense depending on how you hunt — all-day rut sits versus run-and-gun public land, comfort versus ounces, and what you're really paying for at the top end. We get into the Arsenal Cloud Freedom & Cloud Flexx vs. the Latitude Method line of saddles and the Arsenal CarbonLite and ICON sticks vs Latitude's Carbon SS sticks.  We also discussed Arsenal's RZR platforms vs. Latitudes Profile and the game changer Arsenal put in place this year with their Glyde system 7 mm Tether and 6 mm Lineman's rope . Toward the end I put Taylor on the spot and ask which products he's most excited about this season and what he'd actually tell a buddy to buy. Whether you're building a saddle setup from scratch or upgrading a few pieces before the season opener, this conversation will save you a lot of money and a lot of guesswork. Am I Saved ? ... Is Salvation Something You Can Earn - or Something You Accept w/ Pastor Boyd Bettis

Most people think salvation is something you work toward — be good enough, do enough, show up enough, and maybe you'll make the cut. But that's not what the Bible actually teaches. In this episode, I dig into what it really means to be saved: why earning it isn't possible, why grace isn't the same as a free pass, and how accepting Jesus as Savior changes the entire equation. If you've ever laid awake wondering "am I actually saved," you might want to pay attention to this one. We talk through 2 Corinthians 5:21 and what it actually means to be made righteous — not by cleaning yourself up first, but by being covered in Christ's righteousness. We look at Romans 8:1 and why "no condemnation" isn't a technicality, it's the whole game. And we sit in Romans 5:8, where Paul makes the point that God didn't wait for us to get our act together — He moved while we were still in the mess. By the end, the goal isn't to hand you a new checklist. It's to show you that the checklist was never how this worked in the first place. Land Management, Hunting SC, and Parental Rights: Pamela Evette’s Vision for South Carolina

In this episode, I’m joined by South Carolina Lieutenant Governor and gubernatorial candidate Pamela Evette for a deep dive into the issues that define the Palmetto State. We start where many of us spend our time—in the woods. Pamela shares her passion for the outdoors and we discuss the path forward for South Carolina's Deer Herd. We talk about the management strategies needed to improve the quality of our herd and ensure that the next generation of hunters has a world-class experience right here at home. Beyond the hunt, we get into the "Business of the Woods." Pamela shares her plan to reinvigorate Forestry and Agriculture through proper business investment. We discuss how to protect our timber companies, farmers, and private landowners by ensuring they have the tools to manage their lands profitably and sustainably while balancing new economic opportunities coming into the state. Crucially, we also address the battle in our classrooms. Pamela speaks candidly about her fight for Parental Rights and her record of voting against the indoctrination of our children in the public school system. She explains why faith guides her leadership and why she believes the state's role is to support the family, not replace it. Whether you are a timber professional, farm owner, deer hunter, or a concerned parent, this conversation is a must-watch for anyone who cares about the future of South Carolina. #PamelaEvette #SouthCarolina #DeerManagement #WhitetailHunting #Forestry #TimberIndustry #Agriculture #LandManagement #ParentalRights #EducationReform #SCPolitics #GovernorRace #Conservancy #OutdoorLife #HuntingSC #TimberInvestment #FirstTurkey #FaithAndFamily #ProtectOurKids #SCStatehouse

Five Times at Full Draw - Justin Hollandsworth on EHD, Persistence, and How to Save a Season I Ep.66

In September, Justin Hollandworth (@masonsdad1975) thought his season was over. EHD had hit hard, his farm was wiped out, and the plan he’d built all year was gone overnight. What followed was one of the most frustrating—and ultimately rewarding—bowhunting seasons you’ll hear about. Justin breaks down how he pivoted mid-season to find new ground, locate a mature buck, and stay in the game when most hunters would’ve checked out. He had this deer inside 25 yards SIX different times, made a bad hit in October, and even got busted at 5 yards on a late-season move that almost ended it all. This episode isn’t just about killing a big buck—it’s about adapting when everything goes wrong. What’s inside: The EHD Pivot: How to find new places to hunt when your main farm goes quiet. The 6-Encounter Grind: Having a giant inside 25 yards six separate times. The Low Shot: Dealing with a bad hit on October 26th and how he confirmed the buck was still alive. The 5-Yard Disaster: Getting pegged at point-blank range and why he stayed disciplined at full draw. The Survival Guide: Tactical advice for anyone dealing with EHD or a 'blown-up' season.Philosophy: The difference between a rough season that ends well and one that just ends. If you’ve ever had a season feel like it's falling apart, this one will hit home. #bowhunting #whitetail #EHD #deerhunting #bowhunter #bigbuck #huntingstrategy #OhioHunting #archery #huntingpodcast
