Doomberg Predicts Venezuela's Return Toward 4 Million Barrels a Day

Doomberg, the pseudonymous voice of the independent Doomberg publication and newsletter focused on energy, finance, and geopolitics, represents a team of entrepreneurs with deep professional experience in heavy industry, private equity, and the hard sciences.  👉 Doomberg Newsletter Recording Date 9-1-2026. In this episode, Doomberg joins me to break down what the oil market is really telling investors amid turmoil in the Middle East, diesel concerns, and shifting global energy flows. We start with crack spreads and why the difference between crude oil costs and the value of refined products is essential to understanding refinery profitability. Doomberg explains why oil futures can provide a higher-quality market signal than equities, why delivery and contract expiration enforce discipline in crude markets, and why the failure of oil to reach the predicted $150 to $200 range during the Iran conflict forced him to reassess his own expectations. We then turn to Venezuela, where Doomberg says production has recovered to roughly 1.1 million barrels per day and argues the country could eventually move back toward the roughly 4 million barrels per day it once produced. I ask him about the potential role of Chevron, Exxon and other supermajors, the advantages of blending Venezuelan heavy crude with lighter Permian hydrocarbons, and his expectation that substantial outside capital could accelerate the country's energy revival. We also examine Greenland, Saudi Aramco, the Strategic Petroleum Reserve, diesel exports, and oil flows through the Strait of Hormuz. Doomberg's key message is that investors should pay attention to the price signals coming directly from sophisticated oil markets rather than assume geopolitical headlines dictate prices. With Brent trading in the $80s during the discussion, he argues enough oil is reaching the global market to prevent a sustained shortage and says $200 oil remains unlikely unless an extreme event, such as the destruction of major Saudi oil and gas infrastructure, dramatically changes the supply picture.   Key Insights In This Episode ✅ Crack spreads reveal refinery economics and whether the bottleneck is crude supply or refining capacity. ✅ Doomberg argues oil futures provide unusually valuable signals because contracts face delivery and expiration. ✅ $200 oil is unlikely in Doomberg's view without catastrophic disruption to Saudi oil and gas infrastructure. ✅ Venezuela once produced roughly 4 million barrels per day and was already back near 1.1 million by July. ✅ Doomberg expects major outside capital and eventually companies such as Chevron to pursue Venezuela's revival. ✅ America's SPR matters less domestically because the U.S. has become an energy superpower and net exporter.   Affiliates /Tools for Success that I Love and find Helpful: Technical Analysis Series  Battle Bank  Rule Symposium 2026 Rule Classroom (Free)  Rule Classroom Plus (2 Free Months)  TradingView (Free) Lobo's Weekly Recap (Free) Uranium Insider Newsletter   Chapters 00:00 Welcome Back Doomberg 00:19 Diesel And Crack Spreads 04:09 Why Oil Futures Matter 09:26 How Refiners Make Money 13:20 Why One Person Cannot Control Oil 14:48 Greenland Oil And Geopolitics 16:57 Venezuela's 4 Million Barrel Opportunity 21:35 The Venezuela Investment Structure 24:31 Strategic Petroleum Reserve And Hormuz 27:41 What Oil Futures Are Signaling 28:38 Premium Canada Tariffs And Energy   DISCLAIMER: Steve Barton and In It to Win It are not registered investment advisers or broker-dealers. Gold Drops 3.2% As Steve Barton Warns The Selloff Isn't Over ~ Monday Market Moves

📩 Website 📩 Free Newsletter 📈 Technical Analysis for Beginners  🌎 Travel Channel  🌎 Conference Nov 22-24 Discount Code ITW500  Recording Date 8-30-2026. The S&P 500 gained 0.5%, and I'm giving it a modest 55% probability of moving higher, while the DXY jumped 0.9% and broke several important moving averages. Precious metals were much weaker. Gold dropped 3.2% after being rejected around $4,755, and I think the correction has further to run, with support around $4,450, $4,400 and $4,265. Silver fell 2.5% after reaching $72.05, while GDX dropped 3.1% and PSLV lost 4.4%. I also explain how I use staged 15%, 35% and 50% allocations, Fibonacci retracements, and historical support and resistance to build positions as prices become cheaper. In commodities, I'm watching some very different opportunities develop. Copper gained 1.1%, and I think it could challenge a new all-time high, although the COPX copper miners ETF looks vulnerable to a pullback. Uranium barely moved at 0.1%, but URNM fell 2.6%, creating what I see as a potentially attractive accumulation opportunity around $56, with deeper levels near $50 and $47.50. WTI dropped 3.7%, while Brent fell 5.7%, yet I remain constructive on oil beyond the near-term weakness. Natural gas gained 4.1%, palladium surged 5.8%, and I remain optimistic on platinum despite its 2.2% weekly decline. Nickel, meanwhile, fell 1.6%, and after reassessing its chart in real time, I'm leaning bearish for next week.   Key Insights in this episode ✅ Gold fell 3.2%, with Steve expecting further downside toward key Fibonacci support levels. ✅ Silver dropped 2.5% after reaching $72.05, shifting next week's bias slightly bearish. ✅ Copper gained 1.1%, with a possible new all-time high developing despite COPX weakness. ✅ URNM fell 2.6%, creating potential uranium accumulation levels around $56, $50 and $47.50. ✅ Natural gas climbed 4.1%, while leveraged BOIL remains a short-term trading vehicle due to decay. ✅ Palladium surged 5.8% as platinum and palladium show increasingly bullish technical setups.   Affiliates /Tools for Success that I Love and find Helpful: Technical Analysis Series  Battle Bank  Rule Symposium 2026 Rule Classroom (Free)  Rule Classroom Plus (2 Free Months)  TradingView (Free) Lobo's Weekly Recap (Free) Uranium Insider Newsletter   Chapters 0:00 S&P 500 And Dollar Market Outlook 01:59 Gold Drops 3.2% And Tests Major Support 07:25 Silver Falls 2.5% After Hitting $72 10:24 Copper Breakout And COPX Reversal Risk 12:19 Uranium Stocks And URNM Buying Levels 15:20 WTI Oil Bear Flag And Energy Outlook 17:34 Natural Gas Rally And BOIL Strategy 20:10 Platinum And Palladium Bullish Setups 22:43 Nickel False Breakout And Downside Risk 23:46 Final Market Thoughts   DISCLAIMER: I am not a financial advisor. Rick Rule Warns Commodity Investors to Prepare for a Choppy 2026

Rick Rule, legendary natural-resource investor, commodities expert, and longtime mining-sector financier, joins me to break down the opportunities and risks developing across the commodity markets.  👉 Battle Bank: https://battlebank.com/high-yield-cash-account/?refid=10040 👉 Rule Classroom (Free) https://ruleclassroom.com/share/-ztDnefsS5h6MTkD?utm_source=manual 👉 Rule Classroom Plus (2 Free Months) https://ruleclassroom.com/share/--qqlFVftepbST8a?utm_source=manual Recording Date 8-24-2026. In this episode, Rick explains why gold could face near-term softness if long-term U.S. interest rates remain elevated, but argues that further government intervention to suppress yields could ultimately strengthen the bullish case for gold. We discuss silver's role as the more speculative precious metal, including why Rick believes gold normally leads precious-metals bull markets before generalist capital rotates into silver. On copper, Rick highlights strong prices but warns that the world's top 10 copper companies may require more than $250 billion in constant 2025 dollars simply to maintain existing production. I also get Rick's outlook on uranium, where spot is around $89 and longer-term contracting is occurring at a premium as utilities focus increasingly on supply and energy security. We discuss Japan's 43-plant nuclear fleet, with roughly 18 or 19 reactors restarted and potentially around 20 more awaiting restart, along with China's nuclear expansion. Rick explains why oil could soften after an armistice yet face a structural shortage around 2029–2030 because of chronic underinvestment. We examine Exxon, Chevron, U.S. LNG, platinum, palladium and nickel before turning to Banyan, Prospector Metals and Gladiator Metals. Rick closes by warning that markets could become choppier while high-quality resource companies remain attractively valued and an emerging M&A cycle could reward patient investors.   Key Insights In This Episode ✅ Gold could weaken short term before a stronger long-term move. ✅ Silver could outperform once investors rotate from gold. ✅ Copper producers face over $250 billion in sustaining costs. ✅ Uranium benefits from tightening supply and nuclear expansion. ✅ Oil faces a potential structural shortage by 2029–2030. ✅ Resource stocks could benefit from a growing M&A cycle.   Affiliates /Tools for Success that I Love and find Helpful: Technical Analysis Series  Battle Bank Rule Classroom (Free) Rule Classroom Plus (2 Free Months) TradingView (Free) Lobo's Weekly Recap (Free) Uranium Insider Newsletter   Chapters 00:00 Welcome Back Rick Rule 00:48 How Banks Profit From Your Cash 02:09 Gold Outlook and U.S. Interest Rates 05:38 Treasury Intervention and U.S. Debt 06:37 Silver and the Precious Metals Cycle 07:46 Gold Versus Silver Allocation 08:35 Copper Near All Time Highs 10:21 Uranium Supply and Contract Prices 12:12 China Nuclear Growth and Japan Restarts 13:14 Oil and the Strait of Hormuz 15:44 Exxon Chevron and Energy Equities 17:22 Platinum and Palladium Outlook 20:00 Nickel and Indonesian Supply 21:38 How to Evaluate Mining Projects 26:02 Banyan Gold and the Upcoming PEA 27:47 Rick Rule's Market Warning 29:31 Premium Portfolio Breakdown   DISCLAIMER: I am not a financial advisor. Gold Jumps 5.5% as GDX Explodes 14.3% and the Breakout Accelerates ~ Monday Market Moves

📩 Free Newsletter: https://stevebarton.substack.com/ 📈 Technical Analysis for Beginners: https://stevebarton.gumroad.com/l/TechnicalAnalysisforBeginners 🌎 Travel Channel: https://www.youtube.com/@inittowinittravel/featured Recording Date 8-21-2026. The S&P 500 had slipped 1.4%, the dollar had fallen 0.8%, and the US 10-year yield had risen 0.9%, but the real story was happening in commodities. Gold exploded 5.5% and pushed through its 200-day moving average, with my next major resistance zone sitting around $4,775 to $4,800. GDX was even stronger, surging 14.3%, while PHYS gained 5.3%. I'm bullish on the direction, but gold's daily RSI near 74 tells me this is not where I want to chase. Silver gained 6.8%, PSLV climbed 8.4%, and SIL jumped 11.2%. With mining ETFs potentially delivering 50% plus moves from recent entry areas, I think taking 10% to 15% off near major targets can be prudent. I also see improving setups across copper, uranium and energy. COPX gained 10.4% after breaking its triangle, while uranium rose 2.2% to roughly $89.40 per pound and longer term contracts were around $95.50. SRUUF held about 81.7 million pounds off the market and remained near a 10% discount, while URNM climbed 6.7%. WTI oil bounced 5.2%, Brent gained 5.4%, and XLE rose 2.3%. Natural gas improved 1.8%, with roughly $2.90 becoming an important breakout level. I'm also watching platinum after its 7.9% rally, palladium after a 1.9% gain, nickel up 1.5%, and PICK for exposure to companies including Rio Tinto, Freeport and Glencore. My broader thesis remains that AI data centers and global electrification could add substantial demand for uranium, copper, oil, natural gas and coal.   Key Insights in this episode ✅ Gold surged 5.5% and could test the major $4,775 to $4,800 resistance zone. ✅ GDX jumped 14.3% while SIL gained 11.2%, creating potential trim opportunities after major miner rallies. ✅ Silver gained 6.8% but faces significant resistance around the $71 to $72 area. ✅ Uranium reached about $89.40 with Steve expecting improving seasonality and stronger upside potential. ✅ COPX rallied 10.4% as copper miners broke out, while copper itself needs to clear the $6.87 high. ✅ Energy demand from AI and electrification strengthens the long-term case for uranium, copper, oil, gas and coal.   Affiliates /Tools for Success that I Love and find Helpful: Technical Analysis Series  Battle Bank  Rule Symposium 2026 Rule Classroom (Free)  Rule Classroom Plus (2 Free Months)  TradingView (Free) Lobo's Weekly Recap (Free) Uranium Insider Newsletter   Chapters 0:00 Market Outlook S&P 500 Dollar and Rates 3:38 Gold Breakout and Gold Miners 9:53 Silver PSLV and Silver Miners 13:16 Copper and Copper Miners 15:33 Uranium SRUUF and URNM 19:29 Oil Brent XLE and Energy Demand 23:21 Natural Gas Breakout Setup 25:56 Coal Markets and Coal ETF 27:18 Platinum and Palladium Setups 29:34 Nickel Breakout Watch 29:59 PICK Metals and Miners ETF 30:43 Closing Market Thoughts   DISCLAIMER: I am not a financial advisor. Trendlines And Parallel Channels Reveal Where Markets Could ~ Technical Analysis

👉 Technical Analysis Series 👉 Battle Bank 📩 Free Newsletter  📈 Technical Analysis for Beginners  🌎 Travel Channel In this episode, I start with the U.S. Dollar Index and show why I require at least three points of contact before I consider a trend line valid. I then break down the DXY's long-term structure, explain why repeated touches make a trend line meaningful, and demonstrate how parallel channels can provide an even stronger framework by defining both support and resistance. I also highlight a potential bear flag and explain why I think the dollar could eventually weaken and break below its roughly 15-year parallel channel. I then move to silver and trace a major trend line connecting its historic peaks around 1980 and 2011 with its more recent price action. I explain how repeated resistance tests occurred increasingly quickly before silver finally broke through, illustrating the "bouncy ball" concept. That former resistance could now become powerful support, and I believe it could ultimately provide a springboard toward higher silver prices in the coming years. Finally, I examine physical uranium through SRUUF and show how its rising trend line has repeatedly provided support despite a temporary breakdown.   Key Insights In This Episode ✅ I require at least three points of contact before I consider a trend line technically valid. ✅ I view parallel channels as stronger tools because they simultaneously establish support and resistance. ✅ I see a bear flag in the DXY and believe the dollar could eventually break below its 15 year channel. ✅ Silver repeatedly tested decades old resistance before finally breaking through the long term trend line. ✅ I believe silver's former resistance could become major support and a springboard toward higher prices. ✅ SRUUF shows how uranium can temporarily break a trend line before reclaiming it and restoring support.   Affiliates /Tools for Success that I Love and find Helpful: Technical Analysis Series  Battle Bank  Rule Symposium 2026 Rule Classroom (Free)  Rule Classroom Plus (2 Free Months)  TradingView (Free) Lobo's Weekly Recap (Free) Uranium Insider Newsletter   Chapters 00:02 DXY Trendlines And Market Direction 02:31 DXY Parallel Channels And Support 04:29 Parallel Channel Levels And Dollar Weakness 06:41 Silver Trendline Breakout 09:23 Silver Resistance Turns Into Long Term Support 11:11 Technical Analysis Series   DISCLAIMER: I am not a financial advisor. Bull And Bear Flags Reveal Where Price Could Move Next ~ Technical Analysis

👉 Technical Analysis Series 👉 Battle Bank 📩 Free Newsletter  📈 Technical Analysis for Beginners  🌎 Travel Channel In this episode, I break down exactly how I recognize these patterns and determine whether they have enough probability for me to put money on the line. Using Coca-Cola stock ticker KO, I start with a five-day 7% decline that developed into a strong bear flag and explain why I generally want at least 65% confidence before taking a trade, with 70% representing a strong setup and 75% being about as good as these patterns get. I also show you how I use RSI and MACD alongside price action to determine when a flag is maturing and why I prefer roughly a 90-degree angle between the initial move and consolidation. I demonstrate how I calculate potential breakout targets using the flagpole, compare daily and intraday timeframes, and distinguish flags from pennants. I also explain how these patterns can appear sequentially during strong trends, why I avoid chasing setups when RSI reaches extremes, and how I use the 78.6% Fibonacci retracement as my cutoff for determining when a bull or bear flag is no longer valid.   Key Insights In This Episode ✅ Strong bull and bear flags can offer roughly 70% confidence, while 75% setups are considered rare. ✅ Steve requires at least 65% confidence before putting money behind a technical setup. ✅ Coca-Cola's 7% five-day decline provides the episode's clearest bear flag example. ✅ RSI and MACD help confirm whether momentum supports a bull or bear flag breakout. ✅ Multiple timeframes can expose flag and pennant structures hidden on the daily chart. ✅ A move beyond the 78.6% Fibonacci retracement invalidates Steve's flag setup.   Affiliates /Tools for Success that I Love and find Helpful: Technical Analysis Series  Battle Bank  Rule Symposium 2026 Rule Classroom (Free)  Rule Classroom Plus (2 Free Months)  TradingView (Free) Lobo's Weekly Recap (Free) Uranium Insider Newsletter   Chapters 00:00 Bull And Bear Flags Explained 01:06 The 70% Bear Flag Setup 02:19 Confirming Bear Flags With RSI And MACD 03:43 Measuring Bear Flag Price Targets 05:45 Bull Flags And Pennant Patterns 08:57 Bull Flag Certitude And Momentum 12:59 Technical Analysis Series   DISCLAIMER: I am not a financial advisor. Brent Jumps 7.8% As XLE Gains 7.7% And Oil Signals More Upside ~ Monday Market Moves

The S&P 500 gained 0.4% and looks like it may be breaking out of another bullish pennant, with a longer term measured target potentially reaching 8,200 to 8,300. At the same time, I see the U.S. dollar looking increasingly vulnerable while M2 money supply has expanded roughly 50% since COVID, which keeps monetary debasement front and center for me. Gold gained 0.9% and I believe the $3,950 area has become a major floor, although I expect some short-term cooling after the breakout. Silver gained 2.5%, but resistance inside its parallel channel has me leaning sideways to lower before the next bigger move. Moving deeper into commodities, copper gained 0.3% and continues to respect a remarkably clean parallel channel, while uranium gained 0.9% and I believe its weak summer seasonality may finally be behind us. The biggest action came from energy, with WTI jumping 6.9%, Brent climbing 7.8%, and XLE surging 7.7%, and I still see room for oil to push higher if these bull flag setups continue working. Natural gas gained 2%, thermal coal rose 3.1%, met coal climbed 4.4%, and the coal ETF gained 3.7%, giving us several energy charts that are beginning to look constructive again. Platinum slipped 0.2% and palladium fell 3.8%, while nickel dropped 1.1% even though its developing inverse head and shoulders keeps my bias pointed higher for next week. I finish by looking at PICK and the major miners including Glencore, BHP, Rio Tinto, and Freeport McMoRan, where the short-term setup looks more cautious despite the potential strength developing underneath individual commodities.   Key Insights in this episode ✅ Oil WTI jumped 6.9%, Brent 7.8%, and XLE 7.7%, keeping the energy trend bullish. ✅ Gold Gold rose 0.9%, with key support near $4,225 to $4,250 and a floor around $3,950. ✅ Uranium Uranium gained 0.9%, while Sprott's uranium trust traded at a 7.5% discount. ✅ Silver Silver climbed 2.5%, but channel resistance keeps my short term bias cautious. ✅ Coal And Gas Natural gas rose 2%, while met coal gained 4.4%, showing improving energy momentum. ✅ S&P 500 And Dollar The S&P 500 gained 0.4%, while the DXY stayed flat and looks vulnerable near its 200 day moving average.   Affiliates /Tools for Success that I Love and find Helpful: Technical Analysis Series  Battle Bank  Rule Symposium 2026 Rule Classroom (Free)  Rule Classroom Plus (2 Free Months)  TradingView (Free) Lobo's Weekly Recap (Free) Uranium Insider Newsletter   Chapters 0:00 S&P 500 Dollar VIX And Yields 4:03 Gold Breakout And Major Support Levels 8:42 Silver PSLV And Silver Miners 12:00 Copper And COPX Outlook 14:02 Uranium And Sprott Physical Uranium Trust 19:49 WTI Brent And Oil Stocks 23:02 Natural Gas And FCG 24:34 Thermal Coal Met Coal And Coal Stocks 26:14 Platinum And Palladium Outlook 27:52 Nickel And Major Mining Stocks 28:55 Final Thoughts And Premium Market Coverage   DISCLAIMER: I am not a financial advisor. Rick Rule's 1,500% Upside Bet Has a 50% Chance of Failure ~ Rule Classroom Plus

Rick Rule, President and CEO of Rule Investment Media, joins me on The Rule Classroom Plus, hosted by Rule Investment Media. 👉 Rule Classroom (Free) https://ruleclassroom.com/share/-ztDnefsS5h6MTkD?utm_source=manual 👉 Rule Classroom Plus (2 Free Months) https://ruleclassroom.com/share/--qqlFVftepbST8a?utm_source=manual Recording Date 8-13-2026. In this episode, Rick challenges investors to stop confusing price with value and explains why a rising resource market can actually be inconvenient when you are still accumulating quality assets. We discuss why patience and compounding matter, why three-to-five-year investment horizons are more realistic than expecting results in weeks, and why investors owning dozens of companies without understanding their underlying value are putting themselves at a major disadvantage. Rick then applies that framework to copper, lithium, gold, silver, uranium, and oil opportunities. I also ask Rick to dig into specific companies and situations our audience is watching. We cover Southern Copper's leverage to copper, lithium royalty risks, Fortuna Mining, Banyan Gold versus Freegold Ventures, and Pan American Silver's enormous optionality in Argentina and Guatemala. Rick weighs Mogotes Metals, ISO Energy, uranium restart economics at Lotus Resources, Australian silver miners, Hannan Metals' asymmetric exploration opportunity, and Venezuela's oil challenges. We finish with his warning about America's enormous fiscal liabilities, his view that substantial financial-system changes are likely, and why successful resource investing ultimately comes back to valuation, patience, management quality, political risk, and understanding exactly why you own a company.   Key Insights In This Episode ✅ Price and value matter more than short-term moves in a rising resource market. ✅ Oil, copper, uranium, and gold theses may need three to five years to play out. ✅ Pan American Silver holds major upside through its large Argentina and Guatemala silver assets. ✅ Direct lithium extraction could disrupt hard-rock lithium economics and future valuations. ✅ Hannan Metals offers asymmetric potential with 50% downside versus 1,000%–1,500% upside. ✅ Massive US fiscal liabilities could eventually force significant changes to the financial system.   Affiliates /Tools for Success that I Love and find Helpful: Technical Analysis Series  Battle Bank Rule Classroom (Free) Rule Classroom Plus (2 Free Months) TradingView (Free) Lobo's Weekly Recap (Free) Uranium Insider Newsletter   Chapters 00:00 Price Versus Value in Resource Investing 7:35 Southern Copper Investment Outlook 9:05 Lithium Royalties and Disruption Risk 11:41 Fortuna Mining and BlackRock Silver 12:49 Banyan Gold Versus Freegold Ventures 16:21 Pan American Silver's Billion Ounce Optionality 18:50 Ranking Pan American Against Silver Producers 20:04 Mogotes Metals Financing and Exploration Risk 21:47 ISO Energy and DISA Uranium Technology 44:23 Sonoro Gold and McKay Gold Silver 45:59 Lotus Resources Uranium Restart 47:01 Australian Silver Miners 50:03 Hannan Metals Sweden and Peru Exploration 51:06 Mar a Lago Accord and US Financial Risk 53:26 Ridgeline Minerals and Nevada Gold Mines 53:57 Rick Rule's Investing Philosophy 54:45 Upcoming Rule Classroom Events   DISCLAIMER: I am not a financial advisor.
