Celebrate Process, Not Just Performance Affirm growth, character, courage, and obedience. 4. Help Them Discover Their Gifts Young people become stronger when they understand why they were created. 5. Surround Them With Healthy Community Isolation is often the enemy's playground. Connection creates protection. Here is a declaration prayer that youth can pray over their lives to help them also build resilience: Father God, I declare that I am created in Your image and formed with purpose. I am not an accident. I am God's workmanship, created for good works. I am deeply loved, fully accepted, and completely chosen by God. I refuse to be defined by fear, rejection, comparison, failure, bullying, or the opinions of others. I am a son/daughter of the King. I have been given power, love, and a sound mind. God has a plan for my life and a destiny that will impact others for His Kingdom. I will walk in courage like David. I will rise in faith like Gideon. I will answer God's call like Jeremiah. I will stand firm in truth like Daniel. The Presence of God goes before me. The favor of God surrounds me. The Spirit of God empowers me. I am strong. I am chosen. I am equipped. I am resilient.
