Mention It All is in my roster of favorite Housewives podcasts. I was pleasantly surprised to find a recent ep devoted to The Rachel Zoe Project, which I recently binged (seasons 1-4) on Hayu (I live in Norway. I came to RZP via Resale Royalty (2013, also on Hayu), a reality show based in a designer resale boutique St Louis and produced by Rachel, who makes occasional appearances. I came to Resale Royalty because Meghan King worked at the shop - this was before she married Jim Edmonds and eventually joined the cast of RHOC. RZP is whacky AF. RZ is fascinatingly neurotic. Her long-suffering husband has hair that resembles The Monkees. The most interesting cast members are actually the assistants. The dynamic is nutso. (Taylor and Brad both went on to have their own reality shows.) It’s interesting to see behind the scenes of the styling/fashion world and its intersection with Hollywood, but I am left with more questions than answers. For instance, what happens when these expensive borrowed designer gowns get make-up or sweat stains on them? How did Taylor nab Demi away from Rachel when Taylor left? Etc.

I liked them before, but now it just all hate. They always rip into other housewives podcast. It’s just not a good look…Funny banter has turned into bitterness, and that’s no fun.
