the gut wrenching struggle of preferring a polished look in a world where undone is in

Lauren and Chan chat about the struggles of wanting to look polished amidst the trend of looking undone. Chan shares her review of the movie Challengers starring Zendaya, and why it has the perfect amount of steaminess. The gals discuss their plans for a new type of deep dive, which will feature subjects who are more accessible than A-listers. They give their take on Jana Kramer’s recent comments about Travis Kelce and the tricky level of celebrity Jana seems to be living in. Lauren and Chan get into the absolutely entitled behavior of influencer Katherine Asplundh and why she is being called a bully. The gals dive into the Vanderpump Rules finale, which has resulted in some very strong negative feelings toward a few cast members. Finally, they share their love for The Valley and why it is both fascinating and difficult to watch.

    220: Met Gala 2024

Lauren and Chan discuss the 2024 Met Gala looks and decide which attendees understood the theme and which ones missed the mark. The gals rate looks by Zendaya, Amelia Grey, EmRata, Lana Del Rey, Sydney Sweeney, Lauren Sánchez and more. Lauren shares a shocking bit of Jeff Bezos gossip that sounds almost too crazy to believe. They chat about Kim Kardashian being booed during Tom Brady’s roast and which roast jokes went a little too far. Lauren and Chan dive into the lives of Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman’s adult children and how Katie Holmes likely saw the writing on the wall with Suri years ago. The gals touch on Bethenny Frankel and Paul Bernon’s breakup and why they believe the relationship was doomed from the start. Finally, they chat about Nick Viall’s nightmare honeymoon, which serves as a cautionary tale for all.

Astrimib ,

I came for the celebrities, I stayed for the sisters

I came for the celebrity gossip, I stayed for these sisters and their amazing growing up stories, their slow work mentality and their wit and amazing sense of humor. They have a way with words that makes me laugh out loud at work. Finally I found a podcast that I can listen to religiously - I thought I’d never find one, but a desperate google search for a pop culture podcast last autumn resulted in me finding pop apologists, and my life wont be the same without it! My favorite episode is ep 69, where the testosterone book is discussed… I’m a proud Patreon subscriber and I can’t wait to see your podcast grow further and further in the future! xx
