    ACOT- Inaugural Lecture of Fr John Behr as Professor in Orthodox Theology at VU

    On Friday 13 January 2017, Father John Behr accepted the Metropolitan Kallistos Ware Chair in Orthodox Theology at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU) during a session of the College of Deans. The vice-dean of the Faculty of Theology, Prof. Eddy van der Borght, presided over the academic ceremony and first delivered the laudatio. Then Fr John accepted his full professorship at VU by delivering his inaugural lecture entitled The Paschal Gospel: Reading John in Early and Eastern Christianity.
