    Season 1 Trailer

    Introducing… Foundling

On 6th October 1987, a newborn baby is found on the verge of a remote country lane in Suffolk. Police comb the area for clues and appeal for witnesses, but the mother is never found. The baby, Jess, is adopted. Journalist Lucy Greenwell has never forgotten the day when Jess was discovered. She was a child and lived nearby. For decades Lucy has wondered; what happened to Jess, and what could have driven a mother to leave her child in such an isolated place? When Lucy tracks Jess down, she finds a woman already deep in her own search for the truth, and a story far more tangled than either of them expected. What unfolds is a tale of long-held secrets and unintended consequences that spirals out of Jess’s control. Foundling is a 6 part original series from Tortoise Investigates and The Observer. Jealous Mom Kidnaps Her Own 22 YrOld Pregnant Daughter, Takes Her Into Forest & Cuts Unborn Baby Out

Cortney texts her sister, Candis, asking if she has any hand-me-downs she can use for a baby. Which is a confusing question for Candis because she had no clue her sister was pregnant. No one did.    Nonetheless, Candis learns of her new baby nephew, born prematurely, and still in the NICU.    About a week passes and the sisters don’t text until new mom Cortney breaks the news to Candis...     “My son passed away... Idk what happened. I just know that he wasn’t getting air. All I know is I watched my child die right in front of me.”    Candis will soon realize that the same day Cortney’s son died in the NICU, a 22 year old pregnant woman had gone missing.    It’s all circumstantial but it has to be connected in some way, right?    Especially that last text message from Cortney: “All I know is I watched my child die right in front of me.”    Is Cortney talking about the baby boy nobody knew she was pregnant with that she claims was in the NICU? Or is she talking about her daughter?   The missing 22 year old pregnant woman.          Full show notes available at RottenMangoPodcast.com Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. Mark Palmer

In this episode, we cover the unusual case of Mark Palmer, a construction worker from Bedfordshire, who vanished in 2019 whilst working overseas in the town of Ontinyent, Spain.  Mark was last seen by his colleagues at 10:30am on the morning of April 27th, a Saturday. Mark had a history of going AWOL for up to 24 hours at a time, so when he failed to return on Sunday, they weren’t immediately concerned. By the time Monday rolled round, there was still no sign of him, so they called the police.  This episode hears from Mark’s sister Claire, who explains her brother’s long history of mental health issues and how they may have played a factor in his disappearance. She talks about travelling to Spain with her husband and the rest of Mark’s family and how within a matter of hours she went from studying for a PHD, to coordinating a sprawling search effort with dozens of volunteers.  For more information on this case, and every episode from every series visit https://themissingpodcast.org And to visit details of the most recent appeals - like the one you may have heard in this episode, please visit : https://missingpeople.org.uk/recent  If you or anyone you know is struggling with drug or alcohol addiction, you can find some useful information here: https://www.talktofrank.com/get-help/what-is-drug-and-alcohol-treatment-like  If you want to listen to The Missing COMPLETELY ad-free, and help to support the show, then please subscribe to our channel. 3 Indian Sisters Jump To Death - Dad Claims They Lived In Fantasy World & Adopted Korean Identities

The Kumar sisters, 16, 14, and 12 years old, do everything together.  They eat together, they sleep together, they shower together. If one of them has to use the restroom, all three of them will line up like little ducks, and go to the restroom together.  On February 4th, 2026, all three sisters will die together. A neighbor who witnessed their deaths thinks it looked like an accident. Their parents blame the girl’s addiction to their smartphones and specifically, their addiction to Korean pop-culture. The authorities don’t seem to disagree, but netizens can’t ignore the details slowly emerging.  Reports stating the three sisters’ shared the same father and their mothers were biological sisters. Claims that all three sisters hadn’t gone to school and rarely left the apartment in over two years. And apparent proof that the girls wrote of beatings in their last, 8 page letter.   Full show notes at RottenMangoPodcast.com Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company.
