E008 - Newsupdate 09/2025: Android Sideloading, NPM, Intel teilverstaatlicht, bcachefs, OSS-Personalveränderungen

Auch im September überschlagen sich die News: Android-Sideloading wird erschwert und Intel teilverstaatlicht. Bei NPM gibt es gleich zwei Angriffe und bcachefs ist in Zukunft ein extern gepflegtes Kernelmodul. GNOME 49 erscheint während Mozilla ab September 2026 keine 32-bit Firefox-Versionen mehr bereitstellen wird. Die Zerschlagung von Google wurde erstmal verhindert, die Apache Software Foundation ändert ihr Branding. Kubernetes 1.34 wird veröffentlicht und eine spannende technische Vorschau ermöglicht Container Live-Migrationen. Bei einigen OSS-Projekten herrscht diesen Monat eine hohe Fluktuation. Die Vorfreude auf openSUSE Leap 16 wächst.
