Welcome! Introducing to you Conyo Convos brought to you by our co-hosts, Chrisela Denamarca, Prisca Albendia, Lin Esparagoza, and Khaessy Milan. We strive for this platform to be a place of inclusivity and acceptance, not just for those within the Filipino community but also for anyone who can relate to our topics and discussions. Our goal is to create an environment where issues can be openly discussed without fear of judgement. In our upcoming episodes, we aim to shed light on topics that are often considered "taboo" in Asian(specific to Filipino) households & communities. Our goal is to ignite conversation and raise awareness while sharing our personal experiences. We want to denote that when we use terminology such as ‘Filipino culture’ or ‘toxic Filipino traits’, this does not reflect the traditional culture or heritage of the Philippines. We love and respect our history, heritage and ancestors, and we offer a safe space for conversation. We do not intend to cause any harm or negative judgment towards anyone's upbringing, regardless of their upbringing style. All of us are entitled to our opinions, so let us respect each other.
