Great story, bad audio

I struggled to hear key interviews, the audio was all over the place and I thought it would improve as the series progressed.

A good story ruined by very amateur audio

Although a good story, sadly the sound in this podcast is the worst I've ever heard on Apple podcasts.
People who make podcasts need to hire a professional reputable audio engineer, as the sound in this series is a good example of utterly appalling audio skills.
Too quite then too loud then echoing, and muffled then blasting loud and clear, yet out of phase (tubular sounding) And then the balance is back and forth. It's so bad it distracts the listener from the story.
