    Hackers Unplugged: There is Nothing More To Talk About

    In this episode of Hacker Hangouts titled "Hackers Unplugged: There is Nothing More to Talk About," we are going to delve into the inner workings of the podcast. We will be talking about the journey we have taken from the early days of just hanging out and talking about hacking to the “more structured topics” we have today to where I want to start going in the future. We will discuss the challenges, like figuring out what topics to cover, and the imposter syndrome we sometimes experience when we feel like we don't have anything new to share. We will also talk about how we have expanded by brining in new faces and how we have utilized platforms like Discord. We will also touch on the software I created called Hacker Herder that has helped us manage the podcast and help things run smoothly.     Everything's Broken (Again) and Someone Stole Silk!

    Another wave of egregious findings have come out and I may have been stolen... weird story. Should we keep patching things? What are the alternatives to patching software: Instead of patching software, one option might be to stop using the software altogether and switch to a different solution. Another option might be to continue using the software as is, even if it has known vulnerabilities or issues. What are the long-term consequences of patching versus not patching. So much to chat about. What are the potential long-term consequences of either decision, including the potential for increased security risks or lost productivity if the software is not patched, or the potential for ongoing costs and disruptions if the software is constantly being patched.
