It was our pleasure to sit down the with legend Alex Nankivell for episode 20 of the Halftime Oranges podcast 🍊.
Nank is a product of the factory Christchurch Boys High, he has notched up over 150 games for both the Tasman Mako and the Chiefs.

Late last year Nank made the shift abroad, signing with Munster where he has been a standout in his 14 games.

It was a great yarn talking about Nanks career so far, particularly his time in Munster and how the competitions in Europe differ from Super Rugby and NPC.
Obviously he is class on the footy pitch but he’s an absolute rooster off it. It was our pleasure to have a yarn with him.

E17 with Shane O’Leary aka Mr Worldwide of rugby is out!

Shane is an absolute legend. He has played for multiple professional teams, in five different countries and across ten years. He is currently based in Miami with the Miami Sharks for the upcoming MLR season.

Some of his greatest accomplishments are;
Winning the Pro12 with Connacht
Playing international rugby for Canada and playing in the 2019 RWC
Going to Turkey bald and still returning bald 🧑🏻‍🦲

Footy is back into full swing with the 6 nations kicking off and Super Rugby teams ripping into their first preseason games.

We were lucky enough to attend a couple of the games, with Kegs watching Italy vs England and Dicky watching Munster vs the Crusaders. We discuss all the games played over the weekend as well as Kegs's move to Italy.

The lads are backs for 2024. After the dust had settled from nearly two weeks away Kegs and Dicky jumped back on for a yarn. We discussed our highlights of both London and Malaga and the MVP leaderboard of the Spanish leg of the trip.

In this episode of the Halftime Oranges Podcast, the boys sit down with Flyn Yates, aka Beef Cheeks. Beef has recently moved to Japan to play footy. We discuss his experience settling into life in Japan, the challenges of language barriers, and the differences in rugby divisions.
