The iFanboy.com Comic Book Podcast is a weekly talk show all about the best new current comic book releases. Lifelong friends, Conor Kilpatrick and Josh Flanagan talk about what they loved and (sometimes) hated in the current weekly books, from publishers like Marvel, DC, Image Comics, Dark Horse Comics, BOOM! Studios, IDW, Aftershock, Valiant, and more. The aim is to have a fun time, some laughs, but to also really understand what makes comic books work and what doesn’t, and trying to understand the craft of this great, often under appreciated art form. Sometimes they agree, and sometimes… they don’t. With decades of experience talking about comics, interacting with comic book professionals, this is all about the love of an art form. If the names Brian Michael Bendis, Amanda Conner, Geoff Johns, Gene Luen Yang, Donny Cates, Jason Aaron, Kelly Thompson, David Marquez, Kelly Sue de Connick, Kieron Gillen, Charles Soule, Ta-Nehisi Coates, Scott Snyder, Tom King, Mitch Gerads, Esad Ribic, Rick Remender, Nick Spencer, John Ridley, Skottie Young, Chip Zdarsky, Jöelle Jones, David F. Walker, Grant Morrison, and Darwyn Cooke get you excited, then this is the place for you. This podcast is so good, you don’t even need to read comic books or graphic novels to enjoy it, but it’s a lot better if you do.

This will shock regular listeners, but this show goes harder off the rails sooner than it has in some time. There are some offensive stereotypes that are brought up, and we'll understand if you never want to talk to us again. Also, there are fantastic comics out this week, and we talk about them a lot.

Customer Reviews
A few years behind but here's a review anyway
I use this and a couple of other podcasts to help fill gaps in the collection and point me to treasures I may have missed so i'm still in 2017 but closing the gap. I rerally enjoyed this podcast and find the hosts knowledgable and fair, then Ron came back and I find it hard to enjoy his forced laugh at the end of every statement he makes, or Josh and Connor, nor really the way he seemed to take it over and mistake expostion for a review. But I see he has gone at some stage so i can look forward to that.
The other two dudes, all good, keep at it gentlemen :-) Please tell me they have stopped that superpower to the patreon thing too, thats usually where I bug out.
Timeless and Ageless Wonders
This is simply the best comics podcast out there. Conor and Josh (and some great guest hosts every now and then) are knowledgeable, funny and just damn good at podcasting. They have mastered this stuff.
Always interesting analysis as well as being entertaining. The only voice in comics you need to listen to, although this may boost Josh’s ego too much so at least just give them a crack and see what you think.
Oh, and if you listen just go ahead and support them on Patreon so they can make some money out of it. They at least deserve that after all these years.
Best Comic Podcast
I have tried a few of the comic book podcasts and this is by far the best. Intelligent and clear discussion about comics at its best. Highly recommended
