Long pants, Lazarus Peters, missing bits, & winners & losers
Wrapping up Election 2023, there's still plenty to play for ahead of election day. We review the highs and lows of Election 2023, unpack National's 'Winston Strategy', consider the missed opportunities and pick the seats to watch.

National and Labour's broken bungy and why we all need to grow up
Grumpy voters, crimes against candidates, desperate parties, unsophisticated MMP strategies and the return of John Key. As the campaign peaks, so does the tension.

What do you do with a problem like Winston?
National's decision to form a government with New Zealand First as "as a last resort" is both a plea and a warning. What might a "cocktail" with ACT and NZF taste like? Could Luxon hold it together? And is NZF a racist party?

Good lively analysis
Good lively analysis and covers a good number of topics. Just want to hear more Scott and Lisa and less Tim interrupting. Would benefit from clearer chairing to allow all four clever voices 🙂
Amateur half hour
Caucus makes it painfully obvious just how bereft Radio NZ is of any real analytical talent. These juveniles treat the public policy debate as though it was an episode of WWE professional wrestling, their ‘thoughts’ showing a similar level of authenticity. I would rely on any of them to accurately report the time of day, their bloated egos override everything. Espiner and Owen seem determined to display their foolishness in public at every opportunity, mere reportage is apparently beneath them, every thing must be revelations. These clowns have the delusion that they are the reincarnation of Woodward and Bernstein, whereas they wouldn’t be qualified to sharpen the office pencils.
Don’t bother to waste your time on this rubbish.
Love it
Great fun. I’d love to hear a bit more of what’s going on in contested seats and Māori seats.
