Great stories, awesome sound design.

The least I can do for this awesome podcast is write a review to get it higher on the search algorithm.

I’ve been listening for a while now, and replaying some episodes from season 1 (I cannot get enough of that intro/outro music)
The stories are always unique yet uncanny, even though I do not live in the US I still relate to them.

I’m more excited about this than Radiolab nowadays.

Keep up the great work!

Amazing for the internationally minded

As a linguist, an expatriate, an IB graduate, and a multiracial person, it's very fun listening to the stories Rough Translation comes out with. Although the topics are from a vast range, they podcast provides very in depth analysis of each theme.
I only have two comments on the series. First is that I wish episodes had more parallels between them or tied back to a common theme. The episode topics seem to come out of left field sometimes. Second is that I wish they had a lesson to teach about the new culture rather than just providing information on the story and situation. This would provide more of a purpose to the podcast to help make someone more internationally minded rather than just letting them know what's happening abroad.
