Customer Reviews
Excellent
Matt delivers well researched and deftly distilled accounts of the lives of a range of people, presenting them in a perfectly paced, story-like fashion that gives credit where it is due without glossing over the character flaws of its subjects. He is open and honest about ambiguity in his sources and controversy over their interpretation, whilst providing just enough contextural information for listeners to be able to imagine the world as his subjects might have seen it. Best of all, he does all this without significantly detracting from the easy flow of his narrative. Overall an engaging and informative podcast that anyone with a lay interest in history or biographies will enjoy.
