REDSALT with Jacob Gise, Ep 193 This week we sat down with Jacob Gise — founder of REDSALT — and unpacked what it really takes to build a high-performance supplement company from the ground up. After years of owning a gym in Santa Monica, Jacob saw the gaps in the industry: underdosed formulas, artificial ingredients, influencer hype… and not enough focus on quality or long-term health. So he built REDSALT differently. REDSALT is rooted in premium red alaea sea salt, optimized electrolyte ratios, daily creatine, and performance-driven ingredients — designed to fuel energy, cognition, recovery, and longevity. Not just a pump. Not just a trend. A daily ritual. Here are 4 of the biggest takeaways 👇 💧 Hydration drives performance — sodium + potassium balance matters more than most people realize. 🧠 Creatine supports muscle and brain health — and consistency is everything. 🧂 Transparency wins — clean formulas, no artificial sweeteners, no hype. 🤝 Community > transactions — the future of wellness is immersive, connection-driven brands. #REDSALT #HydrationMatters #PerformanceFuel #LongevityLifestyle#CleanSupplements ____________ 00:00 Introduction to Jacob Gise and Red Salt 02:39 Jacob's Entrepreneurial Journey 05:13 The Origin of Red Salt 08:11 Formulation and Ingredients of Red Salt 10:43 The Importance of Electrolytes and Creatine 13:15 Differentiating Red Salt in a Competitive Market 16:07 Building a Community Around Health and Wellness 18:36 The Future of Health and Wellness Industry 21:33 Flavoring and Product Development of Red Salt 24:14 Best Practices for Using Red Salt 34:51 Understanding Supplement Ingredients 36:54 The Importance of Transparency in Nutrition 40:08 Creating a Community-Centric Brand 44:53 Innovative Product Formulations for Everyday Use 49:21 The Future of Hydration Solutions 54:27 Personal Growth and Content Creation ____________________ You can find Jacob and REDSALT  here: Instagram REDSALT IG  Website  You can find The Macro Perspective and its hosts here: Instagram: Marcos: Seamus: TikTok YouTube Facebook Apple Podcast ____________________ About Jacob: Jacob Gise is the founder of REDSALT, fitness entrepreneur, and lifelong student of performance. Raised in North Georgia by a chiropractor father, he grew up believing health isn’t something you fix—it’s something you work on daily. A former college basketball player, Jacob’s career was shaped by injuries—ACL tears, herniated discs, and countless setbacks—that led him to study how the body heals and adapts. Certified as a trainer at 21, he spent his 20s coaching clients while relentlessly experimenting on himself—refining nutrition, recovery, and performance. At 30, he moved to Los Angeles and opened a gym in Santa Monica, building a community centered on strength and longevity. Today, REDSALT reflects his mission: clean, transparent, high-performance supplements designed to fuel energy, recovery, and long-term health—without hype or compromise. ____________________ About the Podcast: The Macro Perspective is hosted by Marcos Rivera and Seamus Sullivan, and was born from a simple but powerful mission: to help people take ownership of their health and lives. 🧠 EP 191 – Men’s Mental Health with Max Hernandez We talk a lot about physical training. But what about the battles men fight that you can’t see? In this episode, Max Hernandez gets real about pain, depression, purpose, relationships, and the courage it takes to be vulnerable as a man. This conversation is honest. Grounded. And necessary. Here are a few powerful takeaways 👇 🧠 Mental health and physical pain are deeply connected. Max’s experience with psychosomatic pain was a turning point — once he addressed the mental load, the physical symptoms started to shift. 🤝 Community changes everything. Healing doesn’t happen in isolation. The right people around you can literally alter the trajectory of your life. 🔥 Purpose is powerful medicine. Finding meaning in your work, your relationships, and your story can pull you out of places that feel impossibly heavy. 🗣️ Vulnerability builds strength. When men share their stories, they don’t look weak — they create connection, leadership, and permission for others to heal. We also dive into relationships, alternative education models, building a brand with clarity, and why the current education system often misses the mark when it comes to preparing people for real life.
